Do you play with Seat Position ?

Hello Every1,

I would like to know if you guys play using your position in the table and how you do/use it against the other players..

Does it depend on your Hand ?
Does it depend on the Folds ?

Playing out of position is a big hole in my game. I'm doing a lot better but I still play out of position way too much.

i dont agree with positions

Positions are over rated, small blind, big blind and the button do nothing to your cards in hand or the cards on the board, you need to play your opponents instead of positions out play then while they are in Quote UnQuote good positions. i totally disagree with the Positions play its all in your cards and the players.

Your position is the biggest helper to playing your opponent. Seeing what they are going to do before you have to make your move is a big help.

I disagree with gotti - position can help you relative to where the action is, just as Jim just said. Sure, it may be overrated, but don't throw it out as if the concept is completely useless.

This is some of the worst advice I have ever read on this forum. Knowing when, what and how to play according to your position IS the single most important skill to master in NLH.
