Do you guys play live games

I play a live game every week, I find it so much harder. People are so much more intimidating in person...

I play occasionally with my mates though they refuse to play for money. They also don't really know how to play properly. As a result I find it a bit tedious playing with them.

I also try and hit a casino and play there every so often.

Occasionally, and it's much more challenging than online poker.

Every fortnight on Friday I play with 5 of my mates. Its a £10 buy in. Winner takes £50, second place gets his cash back. Came second last week

I must agree that live poker is more entertaining, especially with friends. However it does drag on a bit.

We have a group of friends that play live every weekend. Its a big difference playing live, its more exciting. Lets you learn how people play, read the faces, and call the bluffs when you can.

For me, live poker is much more entertaining. I like live much better than online simply because of the "feels" of the game that are lacking when you play online. I like the feel of the chips and being able to stare down your opponent in the eyes, not by trying to figure out what he has by how much time it took him to click the 'Bet' button.

I am trying to get some people together for live poker. I think it is just more fun playing live, because you can observe your opponents and learn about their style.

i enjoy the casual games where were just kicking back a beer and playing cards inbetween, but my favorite thing in the world is to go into the casino and sit down with guys there with the intent of making money. i enjoy the serious atmosphere more than anything else.

playing live in a BnM tournament

Yes, I play once a week in a 20 pound Mutli Tournament at my local casino - usually bout 60 regular entries, BUT obviosuly there are certain things u cant do in a casino than what u can online eg

1) Sit there playin in nothing but ur underwear
2) When someone gets knocked out you instantly stand up shake his hand and mumble 'nh'
3) Scream for ur missus to play a couple of hands for you whilst u r sat on the pan in the bathroom

I could go on BUT you get my drift right?!

I would play live more often but the casinos tend to frown on playing in your underwear.

I enjoy live games more. It is a whole lot easier to bluff. Plus you get to play with people you know. That helps a little.

I am a weekly player of live games usually we have about 8 to 10 players a week small games and we vary the buy-ins usually we start with 20 buy-ins and we have 3 winners per game 50% first 30% 2nd 20% 3rd and we have played 50 buy-ins with the same payout schedule lots of fun and to me at least more entertaining and we all start with 500 dollars in chips in a 20 buy in game
