do you gamble on other stuff

Was just wondering if most people here just play cards or do you bet sports games, the ponies, really any thing at all. and also whats the weridest thing you have ever but money on.

Me i play the ponies once in while. Football a lot and college basket ball.
At a home poker game one night the radio station was play 2 fers (same artist twice) so we were betting 5 bucks to see if we could guess what the next song was

Yea, I consider myself a bit of a gambling fiend. Whatever someone wants to gamble on, i'll do it. Currently I gamble on the occasional sports game, "poker" if you call it gambling, and whether or not a girl in my spanish class will show up before or after 10 minutes after class.... which probably doubles as the weirdest thing i've ever bet on

I play Powerball and Megamillions.

Also do parlay bets on NFL games in winter and baseball in their season.

I gamble my life everytime I get behind a wheel in this crazy town.

Seriously though, I do play Powerball a lot, and when in Vegas, I play Blackjack and some Craps too.

I hate gambling, but I do like the stock market, horse races, and poker.

Not the weirdest thing I've bet on but a fun win anyway. 8 of us skydivers bet on hitting an X made w/ masking tape on a tarp staked down at the DZ. I won by hitting 5cm away from dead center from an 11,000 foot jump.

I was then forced to spend all my winnings on beer for the gang

ill play some black or 3 card poker live but never onlilne. and the occasion powerball or megamillions. im in sw ohio, so we have mega, and ky and indiana have powerball, so i can waste my money on either or both. good times!

Almost NEVER the lottery, I consider them sucker bets. I've done it a couple times before, but only when nobody's hit for many weeks, and the pot is WAY up there at record levels - pot odds, ya know. But generally, I keep away.

The occasional NFL or NBA finals bets on Bodog. And I'll always buy up a few silly squares locally in the NFL playoffs & Superbowl. In fact, I used to run those in my office when I lived in Chicago. I used to go to the Racetrack occasionally (Arlington Park, IL & Yonkers Raceway NY). Fun to make small bets on every race, and watch the race. Never got into OTB, just enjoyed it in person.

"Do you gamble on other things?" Other than poker?? Whoa, that says you think poker is gambling. Not skill. Plays into the governments argument. No I don't gamble. period, I do play poker.

Despite the fact that I play a lot of poker, I don't really gamble. I'm more of a social gambler, joining in on bets made during hockey games, UFC events, or whatever. I consider it cheap entertainment, and certainly don't play with an expectation of winning anything.

I don't, however, spend money on slot machines, lottery, scratch tickets, etc. I go with the math, and if the math says I can't win, then I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

We have a weekly football pool. Also always play brackets in March. The dice will get broken out at our home games for some side gambling by the players who are out. I gamble at golf also.

As much as I really enjoy poker, i'm absolutely not interested in gambling. I never bought a single lottery ticket or anything like that, and I think gambling on sports would most likely spoil watching the game for me. Can't really understand why people enjoy gambling at all, tbh.
