DO NOT TRUST FULL TILT POKER!!!!!!!!!!
I recently deposited $50 into a Full Tilt Poker account. I played for a few months and decided to withdraw the $83 I had in my account. After repeted emails back and forth I was informed that the only way I can withdraw my money is to deposit more through epassporte. I did this and immediately requested a withdrawl, after 48 hours they voided my withdrawl with no reason and then cancelled the account, saying I had multiple accounts. I logged into the account they said was my primary and the funds were not there. All my efforts to get that money refunded to me have gone unanswered.

If you did have more than one account*, you broke FullTilt rule. Generally, they close all but the oldest and transfer any funds to that account. They don't usually just keep it. Mistakes do happen though and if you only had one account and nothing else was going on things will most likely work out after a while. Tilt's customer service can be on the slow side so patience helps. *(edit to add: One account per person, not household) Last edited by rainsoaked : 06-08-2007 at 1:34 AM. Reason: clarity |

damn, that's some bad shit there, but um i personally don't play at ftp, but at my house hold my girlfriend and i both have accounts open at absolute poker, and pokerstars, and never encountred a problem of your magnitude...I wish i could give u some helpful words but um, in all fairness at the end of the day u did put ur hard earned money into that pokersite, and all things are traceable, so u should be able to get the known whereabouts of your money.
Wish i could be of more help, But on the same topic i read somewhere that u.b also did the same thing to someone else before, who actually is well known, not to me personally because i can't even picture myself playing in the same level as that person. |

you have to deposit through epassporte so they have a way to get it back to you. the credit card you deposited it with cannot be charged back or your bank (wells fargo ext) does not accept transfers from gambling websites. the second part of your prob sounds shitty but im sure ull eventually get your $ back.

It seems that I opened a Full Tilt account a few years ago that I never really used. I can understand closing the new account but I wonder why it was never an issue until I had a valid way to withdraw. I exchanged at least 5 emails between customer service and they didnt say anything about the account. As soon as I deposited from epassporte and requested a withdrawl they voided the withdrawl and closed the account. Anyway, I still have not recieved an email about my funds being givin back to me. I'll post here if and when it happens.

My advice
Hi all,
Hi Papamag, first of all you should try phoning them, it's quicker than waiting around for email, try to stay polite if you can so they don't hang up on you. The first part is understandable, if you deposited originally via any method apart from epassporte then they would require at least one deposit via epassporte in order to pay you that way, although i'm not sure why they couldn't just send you a check. The second part is more confusing, could be if they issued you a bonus of some sort with that deposit and you tried to withdraw instantly then they would have locked your account for that, if not it could just be a technical problem, or they may have thought it was a bit wierd why someone would deposit, not play then withdraw in which case they might have put your account on hold while they find out more info. Either way I would phone them and talk to someone real, get their name and if you still have an issue or no satisfaction via the phone then come back and post again, alternatively you can contact casinomeister who investigates poker rooms as well as casinos (and he's pretty good with results) you have to give him what you have so far so get on the phone and find out what they have to say to you. Hope this helps you sort this problem out quicker and please post when you find out more. Tony ![]() P.S. Send your email not just to support, send a copy to these too as one or the other may answer quicker : For deposit or withdrawal inquiries, please contact: cashier@fulltiltpoker.com For account information, please contact: accountinfo@fulltiltpoker.com Also i've not heard of it being a problem anywhere with having more than one account, second accounts are quite common when people sign up then forget about the place and unwittingly create a second account a couple of years later, it's a genuine mistake that can usually be verified by the fact that the first account hasn't been logged into or played in a long time. Ok now I have a question???
Hi all,
Ok i've tried to find some help for the original poster which leads me to this questions, why does fulltilt not have a single phone number listed? Bit strange for such a large poker site. Nick have you got a number for them? I've even googled this and came up with nothing, seems odd. Tony ![]() |

sigh. i tried to withdraw $$ from FTP, and i haven't used epassporte or anything. i wouldnt mind a check, but it says that there is a "process" to get the check. this really grinds my gears because its so damn easy to get money on there, but so hard to get it off. its so retarded. everything is nearly instant, except for the withdrawals. deposits, transfers, gift certificates-- all near instant transactions. but withdrawals take days/weeks. assholes.

Well from what I've heard epassporte is just about the most effective method of getting money/to from poker sites.
As for the OP - seriously I'm not sure they'd close your account for the hell of it. The fact is, they have a huge reputation to lose and I'm not sure they'd risk a multi-billion income for $83. (Please feel free to post more info/evidence and prove me wrong) |

Sorry bout your luck but you did violate the policy put in place for multiple accounts it is posted everywhere on full tilt poker website it even tells you when you sign up new accounts for cash if you have more than 1 account then you need to close them prior to opening the new cash account. it sucks but thats life its never fair but you had more than enough chances to read the terms and agreements you sign digitally same with the people who get stiffed by other people transfering money back and forth its against the rules and no poker website will or can be held liable ..................

The same sh*t
I was trying to find the phone number of Full Tilt and have found this topic. We are from Russia, my father plays holdem for 4 years and actually now we know all rules and conditions. Two weeks ago my dad decided to close his old account on FTP site in order to open a new one. Of course he wrote them a letter in which he asked to close the account and they answered him that they did so. As they answered he had no doubt and opened a new account. He played for some time, won some money and made a withdrawal via Click2Pay to his debit card and it was successful. Then he played again and tried to withdraw using the same method, but the transaction was voided, because he has multiple accounts! They blocked both accounts (they did not close the old one) with $7000 on one of them. Now they do not answer our letters
One girl from affiliates (as the accounts were jointto the affiliate ) answered just once and said that she can't help us. We tried to explain them that it was their mistake and they did not close the old account properly, but the just do not answer. So does anybody know their phone number? |

If you have 2 or more accounts than you broke rules and you have a chance of voiding all money you have. Secondly, the only reason there telling you to deposit is if that was not your innitial deposit method than they need to validate that the epassport account is actually yours and the only way of doing that is through a deposit.
I've withdrawn several times and never hadd a problem so its not fulltilt that is bad its the user, sorry. Make sure you don't have 2 or more accounts and if you do try to plea your case to the best of your ability. Good luck on your tables |

Number 2 Under Site Rules
Hi all, At the fulltilt poker website under site rules this is #2: Players are not allowed to create, use, or deposit to more than one account. Violators of this rule are subject to an account review which may lead to account suspension and forfeiture of accumulated Full Tilt Points. This is fairly clear and straightforward so my question would be why have the facility in place to allow players to create second or third accounts? I've signed up with online programs in the past only to be told "that account already exists" or "this email address is already in our database". It's easy to have that extra piece of info so people don't mistakenly create a second account. Regarding the post by pocherovka if you have a copy of the letter sent and can provide proof that this was actually requested then i don't really see a problem of getting that sorted. Of course where there is a lot of money involved it is your responsibility that if you indeed request a closure of an old account you need to triple check that the request has been fulfilled. My question would be why close an old account? Just continue to use it. If there is a legitimate reason for wanted an account closed, before re-opening another account you should attempt to login using the old username and password to confirm that account has in fact been closed. Regarding IP addresses, it's impossible for any online website/company to regulate fully IP addresses, with dial up connection and providers like AOL who have "dynamic IP addresses" which means every time you sign offline then connect back again your IP changes. There are legitimate claims out there of players not getting their money for one reason or another, there are also people who have been caught violating the rules and just want to vent their anger. If it's legitimate there are places which can help. casinomeister.com being one of the more well known websites who gets results, but beware, if you don't have a legitimate claim/argument he will find that out too, and publish it. No he does not. Often there is a lot more to these stories than we are told in the OP - and it is impossible to advise or comment sensibly without knowing the full story. It would help and add tremendous credibility to and understanding of the issue if we could see the site email and know specifically how they have responded. |

I had the exact same thing happen to me on Full Tilt a couple of years ago. I changed funding services from FirePay to NETeller and when I did so, Full Tilt support opened a second player account for NETeller. I didn't knowingly open the second account and didn't personally violate any of their "multiple account" policies. The second account was 100% initiated by FT support. I emailed them a couple of times over the course of a week, but received only a confirmation that my accounts had been closed due to violation of the "multiple account" rule.
I got the situation resolved when I got up very early one weekday morning, in order to accomodate the off-shore time zone difference and to improve my chances of reaching a supervisor, and phoned Full Tilt support. I explained what had happened, they accessed my account, acknowledged the clerical error, closed the first account, transferred all fund balances to the second account, and that was that. Hope it works out as well for you. For those who offered little or no help other than to parrot the rules, you should read the posts more carefully before you chime in. Nowhere does Papamag say he opened a second Full Tilt account, only that he deposited into epassporte as instructed. Just like I did with the same result. I can tell you I've had the same frustrating experience with FTP. Customer service is non-existent in their vocabulary.
We also have money (about $100) locked up somewhere in their system we tried to cash out. I beat my head against the brick wall for a couple weeks, then got busy with other things. Maybe I'll try again and let you all know if I get any positive responses from them. Don't hold your breath though. |
