Did The 50 Post Quota Work Out?

Well it’s been a few weeks now since cardschat imposed the 50 post minimum ( hey I'm all the way up to 31 now ) on it’s members to play in their private free rolls. I’m sure there were lots of post for and against the whole idea.

I understand why they did it, but now I’m just wondering if it had the desired effect on the number of players that actually enter the free rolls now. Did it stop all those players who are not members here from getting in? Or did they finally join the forum and make a mad rush to get to 50 + posts?

If any has an average number of players that are now signing up for the CardsChat freerolls at the Full Tilt and Bodog, I would sure appreciate it. Who know's maybe in another
year or so I'll get to 50 post!

From what i see it's working!!!It's really tough making 50+ quality posts so the desired effects surely must have been accomplished!

Or at least i hope so too

Now that the new guideline of 7 posts/day max for new members is in place, it is certainly having the desired affect to the forum. With regards to the freerolls, I believe there infinitely better with around 100 -150 players as opposed to the 900 they usually get.

Yes - it had a huge positive impact on the freerolls. They are much smaller now and the quality of people in them is much higher. (and I am not talking poker quality).

We had problems with post count spamming but as Jagsti said the implementation of the new 7 min post per day rule is helping that drastically.

Yup!

Yes, the new rules ARE working and working rather well! As far as the mad rush to join and rpidly make 50 posts, Nick employed a new 7 post max per day for members with less than 51 posts---and don't forget, they must be QUALITY posts, not one-line BS! And the Mods are keeping a close eye on that---And there's been an unexpected plus to the whole thing too! We have been recruting new members who would never have joined to begin with! So yes, all in all the new rules are working better than expected!

Hmmmmmmmm, I think I'll have to get my post count up to 50 soon, because the 100 to 150 players players per freeroll now, I definately think I can win a few of those.

Also does cardschat have any idea if they are ever gonna have some freerolls at Doyles Room?
