| Deep Stack Tournaments I am looking for Deep Stack Tournaments To Play In, and wondering if there were any on other sites than Stars anyone can recommend. I have been playing in the $11 one on Pokerstars which attracts about 1800 entrants and going deep in it a high percentage of the time but it doesn't start until 5pm which is too late, as if you last til the final table its like 7am in the morning, and when it gets past 4am my play generally starts to deteriorate. I'd rather find a similar one on another site which starts at maybe 12am or at least a bit earlier if there is one. |

| The next superstack at the OP's level is in December and it's a mini-ftops. I honestly don't see the tournaments littered with superstack tournaments. You might wanna keep an eye out because it's $150k guaranteed for $12+$1 and a knockout tournament so you can collect $2 bounties along the way. You're also likely to spot some red pros registered, so there's a chance you'll sit at a pro's table(which for a lot of people is a big deal). There are a bunch of mini-Ftops and Ftops perks(well, they're more like bonus stuff you can win), just check the site for details. For daily tournaments there's the doublestack tourneys. They have okay guarantees, nothing like $150k + the chance to play against a pro(who's probably half-assing it due to playing in a way bigger tournament at the same time). Bust a pro and get their buy-in + a nifty T-Shirt. If nothing else you can buff your car with it . A doublestack gives you 150bb's, while a superstack gives you $250bb's. 150bb's is hardly a short stack. Even at the bottom $1 + 0 fees, most people play a doublestack more like a deepstack than a regular tournament. It's not a giant stack, but it's enough chips to where you don't have to go fully gonzo and try to swing for the fences every time you're in a hand, ya know? Cool thing's that you can find them every day, and some start right at the time you're requesting(well that's FTP time which is pacific). Oh forgot to mention, the doublestacks at your level $10+$1 are cashout doublestacks. So you can cashout some of your chips or all of them whenever you feel like it. It's 50c per 300 chips. If you can get your stack big enough but start feeling sleepy, well just cashout I reckon. I mean once you're that deep in a tournament and feeling sleepy it just stands to reason that your stack will be big enough to at least make a small profit without just busting out on the bubble for nothing, right? | re: Deep Stack Tournaments poker pokerstars sunday million. Bit pricey but its a good structure and u get 10k in chips. I think they need to bump it up to 15/20k in chips tho since ur gettin like 7000+ players now... There is the $33 deepstack tourny on pokerstars which starts at 07:15am (UK time) but there realy isnt much deepstack tourneys going around atm. Wish they would tho. I tend to go 4 deepstack tournys as i have more room and better spots to put my chips in instead of crapshoot 10minute blind levels... |

| Has it occured to you that the squeaky wheel gets the oil? If it's something you really want, ask for it. The more you and all the deepstack players ask for it, the more likely it is you'll get it. Just don't be shocked if poker sites, being money hungry businesses, expect you to pay double in fees. |
