Dealing with Bad Beats

Ok so you've just lost to a two outer on the river. How do you deal with it? Do you play through it? Take a break? Have a drink? Smoke? I just thought someone might be able to give some new insight on how they deal with bad beats.

according to my wife, heres what i do.....
step 1;disbelief
step 2:anger
step 3;denial
step 4:rage
step 5;something gets broken
step 6;acceptance
step 7; repeat all

depends on where I stand in chips, if I'm low in a tourney and its deep into the tourney I'll take a break and have a smoke, if I have a substantial stack, I'll just play through. On the other hand, if I'm playing a ring game and recieve a badbeat I will generally have a tantrum....

I tend to do the same as shine. One other thing to do is to take a deep breath and remember each hand is a new hand. Once you aren't seeing red anymore, you had a chance to win the next hand. Don't play with vengeance in mind though....you may make plays you otherwise wouldn't. Just take a deep breath, count to 10, and remember that the next hand is another opportunity to win.

All depends on if the kids are within hearing range or not!! Usually have a smoke and move on to the next bad beat.
