Data Mining
Found this in a newsgroup and wondered if anybody with knowledge above my pay grade thinks this is plausible?
You can also run software like VMWare or Microsoft's Virtual PC. Run Party Poker within the virtual PC and your data mining product on your host PC. There is pretty much no way that they could know that you are running the data mining product. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtualpc/default.mspx http://www.vmware.com/products/desktop/ws_features.html |

Sounds very plausable. I will ask a programmer friend of mine and post back here if noone has. Ill email him now.
Isn't VPC for running different OS's on the same box during an OS changeover? What I don't understand is how your PT would be able to datamine into your party poker soft but the skin not be able to detect the PT software. I did see where it specifically states to run the PP software in VPC and the PT on your host so maybe the transfer of data only goes one direction. Good question, I shall find an answer for you. |
