DARIO MINIERI WOW

OK well yall probably saw him on espn donking off the chip lead on day 4&5 but i took a look at hi stats on sharkscope and was mind boggled
he is up over 500,000$ in his career playing sngs,i was very impressed. but when i woke up this morning and checked the results of all the major tournaments i was even more amazed as i saw he had won the sunday showndown for 50K, he won the 5200$ freezout {there was a chop so he didnt win 100K but he did take home 60,000$for his effort}.he made it deep in the sunday millions{1050$ buy in} for 5400$
and to top this all of he won the 200$rebuy later that night to win 56,000$ . that is a total of 171400$ in those 4 tournaments alone

i have never seen this kind of performance in 1 day of online poker

what do yall think of this showing is it just luck or is he that good

The kid won a Porsche via FPPs. So obviously he sucks. :P

He is good, he's just this newer breed of hyper aggressive players who are very successful. These are the guys that people mail their chips to because they just can't read them properly. So he'll run the table over often because he'll get away with his bluffs and scoop huge pots with his big hands because people will think he's bluffing.

That lady at the WSOP seemed to be the only one who figured him out.

He is jsut a super aggressive player, so he can run over tables and doesnt care if he loses early on because his game style means he either goes deep or goes out early, he clearly has got a method that works a treat for him.

I know the woman you are on about and i agree, she did seem to be the only 1 who knew when he was bluffing or had a hand

I think he likes to play backwards poker alot and it throws people off. But if he does really play that much then it is possible to pull off a night like that. I also think he is a much better online player than live.

He has honed his bluff frequency combined with his reads and this makes him a difficult opponent. HU he is a bad ass, but he does get spewy in full ring. If you've ever watched him at his table in full ring or during Sunday Millions, you know what I mean.

it seems as though hes a good player, when i watched the wsop i thought wow this guy is an idiot. he jus a super aggresive player and i think people dont think some1 can be so reckless, but he got caught a little later after leading so idk he jus seemed like he thought he could bluff every pot and he can probably get away with it a little more online, but idk he doesnt seem that great to me.

I only became aware of DM (not you Chris ) after watching the WSOP on TV.

Occasionally seen him on PS where he seems to play a lot of $1,000 HU matches.

His highlight for me was when he entered a tourney to go to the PCA. Top 2 got the full package of hotel entry etc.

3 people left and the small stack would have become the clear chip leader with a double up so not much between the stacks.

PLay was very cagey for ages and not much action.

DM was sitting in 2nd place and raises from the SB. BB (who is in 3rd place re-raises and DM puts him all in. BB calls in a nano second.

DM shows 9,2 os, BB shows KK.

Flop 2,x,x. Turn x, River 9

Thats DM off to sun himself but I bet his ears are still ringing from the abuse he got off both the other players.

A poor move as he must have realised that the BB was going nowhere. Still I suppose with 600k in winnings he could have bought his own ticket

Plus, he needs to learn to drive as he will have enough points to get the Aston Martin soon
