1/2 NL Casino, I am down about $120 and taking a beating but still have $80 left. I'm on the SB and dealt 6,6. There is a $15 raise and two callers when it gets to me so I shove. Original raiser and first caller call and third caller also calls but is all in.

Flop is 10,10,5 and player one checks and player two gives a vague motion so dealer shows the turn which is a 6 and makes me a boat. Player two says he never checked and starts to argue so they call the floor and they decide to shuffle the six back into the deck so player two can act. Of course he checks and they end up checking it down.

Luckily my 6,6 still holds up (miraculously) and I take down a $320 pot but I'm still a little pissed. I'm thinking the next time I'm on a draw in a big hand and heads up I'll just nod at the dealer and get them to show me the next card, if it isn't what I'm looking for I'll just complain and get another shot at my card.

BTW, they said they had to re-shuffle it because the dealer's mistake changed the action. My point was that the dealer's mistake was now going to change the cards which is much worse (plus, they just checked it down anyway so I'm assuming player two was trying to cheat).

Well, for starters, I would look at where you are in relation to the other stacks, and if you are the lowest, reload. If you are low on cash anyway, then I understand, but your $80 doesn't represent a whole lot of fold equity if everyone else is sporting a $300 stack. If you find AA with $80 left, and if it holds up all-in two way you're still behind $. My rule is if I'm down to half my original stack, it is in my best interest to reload, mostly due to my ability to properly play a hand post-flop and the ability to stack off someone else for more $ with a made hand.

As for the 6-6 shove at a cash table with $80 left...that is a 40BB shove in cash game, which might be appropriate if you had a solid read on the other aggressor, but with $80 you still have a bit of workability, and the shove move feels like more of a tournament move, where you would squeeze to isolate the raiser and put him to a decision for his stack. In a cash game all you have to do is reload. Of course, that means more of your own money on the table, but psychologically that shouldn't matter if you are playing your best game. It might seem like a mind trick, but if I sit down with $200 at a 1-2 game, and I am resistant to reload after a bad beat, I shouldn't have put down the $200 and played in the first place. Sure, MOST of us are playing beyond our bankroll when we play live ( a decent 1-2 bankroll would be 5-7000 dollars) but if you've been at the table long enough, reloading when you've lost more than half of your stack is probably a smart move.

if something like this would happen to me, a 6 is dealt and for some reason it would be reshufled, i would ask to cancel the hand. The game is not the same after that
