I one time had Quad Q's two times in a row! Flopped them both each time. I know it was insane, and it was a house game (maybe it doesn't count that way.) Well everyone was pissed but what can they do? Neither time was it my turn to deal, but there were 10 people in the game and we were using two different decks. Also had a Royal Flush - one time only so far.

This is by far the worst beat I have ever seen and possibly will ever see. In a cash game with about 75% of his bankroll, my buddy had pocket KK, raises triple bb and gets called by the sb (bb folds). the flop comes K K 4. My friend slow plays it, min bets and gets raised all in. Thinking he is about to nearly double his bankroll, he calls immediatly. Showing his KK he sees that the other player has AA. He has quads, there is no way he can lose right...? Except to quad Aces. The turn and the river are the two remaining aces, and he loses the immense pot. We ran the odds that this could happen and found out that, after the flop, my friend had a 99.9% chance to win the pot.

Stick around long enough and you will see it all. I've been playing live since '69 and online over 2 years and I've had quads beat by quads and a straight flush beat by a royal. Along the way, though, I've been on the winning end of those as well. After you see enough hands, you'll change your question to "how MANY of THESE (a particular hand) have you seen?" The only thing I think I haven't been a part of in those monster showdowns is when it's on a table with a Bad Beat Jackpot. I'm still looking forward to that one ...

I can seeeee it nowwwwwwwwww. 50 pages of how it is statistically impossible to flop quads twice and yada, yada, yada. Poker is rigged. The government needs to regulate to protect the poor, innocent consumer. Then your going to get grilled past well done because YOU were part of the scam. etc. etc. etc. |

re: Craziest hand dealt? poker Thought I'd mention this just for the record (happened 3 weeks ago). 3 way in a SnG on the button, everyone hovering at the same chip stack, stacks approx 15 big blinds. I'm on the button with 55, raised 3.5x, small blind flat calls with deuces wired, big blind folds. Flop comes 2 2 (7-8?) rainbow. He checks his quads I bet about 2/3 the pot, he shoves, and after some deliberation, I reluctantly called. Turned a 5, and you guessed it, rivered a 5 for quads over quads. I figure the odds of that happening are pretty astronomical, so I decided to share. Wish I was playing 200 NL maxed out though, hah.

Since I tend to forget hands (good against tilt) I can only remember one I played yesterday in a cc freeroll. Got pocket 77s - called a reraise by three opponents - flopped a set - checked - and called the massive all-ins. At showdown they were holding AA-KK-and a nut-flush draw. KO-ed all four and with their chips took the whole tourney down. This will be called garfing them, now - lol.

Playing at my local casino in our 5-150 game (like a 2-5NL but without the NL part due to AZ law) 3 way limped pot and I was the BB with 56d. There was a promotion that was 4 minutes from starting for the graveyard crew which added $250,000 to the bad beat jackpot Aces full of tens beaten by quads or better. 9c-9d-7d came on the flop. Checked around. 8d on the turn. I was exstatic. Again, checked around. Qc on the river. I bet out for $10 into a $15 pot. I get raised from the middle for $40 more, Button then raises $150. We are all deep stacked at the table with about $1000 in front of us a piece. Needless to say, every dime gets in the middle. I show my straight flush, middle position shows QQ for queens full, and the button goes bezerk and shows 99 for quads. We had hit the bad beat jackpot too early. We begged and begged for them to take a look at the camera, and the promotion hadn't started yet. We still hit a $19,000 total one, with my share being just under $5k....I still dream about the $125k I missed out on by 4 measely minutes...

I can recall a hand from yesterday, that I was playing in a Bodog free roll. I was bb. This was pure luck by the way. The next guy over goes all-in with 1800 in chips. Everyone around the table folds to me. With 23os I'm folding as well. I accidently called his raise instead of folding. lol. This isn't the first time I have done this and lost either. Well not this time. This guy was so pissed. He turns AA. Me 23os. Flop is K,8,3, turn is a 9, river a 3. I took all his chips on a b.s. accidental call. To quote him I believe he said "This is the worst room"....."ever" lol Somehow I think I have been in his shoes before. Only this time I was on the winning side.

One of my first hands ever online. Had 10 10 and called a raise preflop. The flop came out A 10 10. I can only assume he had AA, because he immediately went all in, and I immediately called. Welcome to the world of online poker, I thought to myself.
