No because there are always going to be those fish that think that they don't need all the books, videos and blogs from the world's best poker. The game might tighten up in terms of fish, but I don't think it will ever turn into sharks only.

Maybe if online poker is proved to be rigged at all sites or something like that to make ppl stop playing or else i dont think it will (?) Right now its just increasing all the time right? I think the next generation coming up there will be alot of more poker players/fishes just because of TV shows etc showing tha good life/side etc ^^..

re: Could poker ever "dry up"? The game will always evolve. Just look at how game play was back when Doyle started and how it is now. People will always be greedy therefor pumping money in the game. I don't think poker will ever "dry up". Maybe NLHE if another game type takes its place.

Yeah, I agree. Everything goes in cycles, but to have only sharks roaming the tables will never happen. There will always be people wanting to learn, learning, and hustling . Poker has been around for hundreds of years and will continue on... until 2012, of course... just kidding, but seriously...

People get bored and will move off to the next big thing. Will poker die? No just be aware that one day it just won't be as popular as it is now. Will shark be able to continue making money? Sure - but the fish pool will be smaller and there will be more competition.

re: Could poker ever "dry up"? Highly doubt poker will "dry-up" anytime soon. It's a game about reading your opponent. Even if people get better all the time, there's always a challenge. Hard luck also comes into play which doesn't make it a fool proof game even if you consider yourself the best. And also, the sheer potential of winning money, whatever amount it may be, gets a lot of people excited. I just don't seeing poker going away... But that's a good thing
