Cool Pokerstars Feature...

Coming in next update by all accounts. Looks great imo, and will be a big improvement hopefully on the AHK script that I use.

Finally they have it. FTP has had it for a hell of a long time and it's soooo much more convenient.

newest PS feature

Whats even nicer is that they've finally made their
hand history page a table snapshot of the previous hand instead of a hard to read jumbled up numbers chart! Cheers to the PS software dept!

I hadn't noticed it, but this was on their testsite. Also has a feature where you can see your opponents VIP level, is that something that would be helpful to you guys

if i'm out of chips i usually dont rebuy. i have dounled up before the first break. then i only do an add on. if i rebuy 3-4 times i would rather go into a higher priced tourney.

I would imagine you will be able to hide your VIP status if you choose, just like you can choose to hide from the search function.

i agree, for something so smalll it make s abig difference, and I love their new replay last hand with the full table view. I really enjoy full tilt because of all these options, and pokerstars being a leading web site needs to keep up!

If you find the post, in the VIP showoff box you can have the option of showing your VIP level or NOT showing it (at table, at lobby, wherever).

From the sound of a follow up post, these changes are a couple of weeks away for the general public, although my MAC version has some of them already. It was said that the "beta" testers will be randomly chosen until the full release.

Will they ever be getting the betting features that Bodog has? (Bet Pot, 1/2 Pot, etc)

i hope not. i'm not really a fan of pot buttons (even though full tilt has it... small tangent: i find it weird that on ultimatebet pot bets are used so frequently, but on full tilt it's used way, way less often -- at least after the flop -- even though they both have a button for it). but anyway, if people want to make terrible bet sizing errors, i'd like them to be able to. if they just pot everything they'll probably be making less mistakes than they would on their own

Yeah a bet pot button would favor the fish greatly.

If it's anything like FTP it won't have any effect on them. They generally don't use it. The only real benefit you'll see is in not having to load a 3rd party poker app or remember to reload for yourself.

Please release this soon, I can't wait to be able to use this feature.

Zach

P.S. Can you please find my account and turn doomswitch permanently off? Would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I just hope that adding some of these new features does not make PS run as unstable as FT has been lately. PS seems to run better even with the 20000 player fields than FT does with it's 3200 fields. Thanx for the info.

Wouldn't matter. Tilt has it and the bad players are still bad (like me ). Again just because it's there doesn't mean people will use it.

WV, along with quite a few other CC'ers who play 50nl and lower, I respect your input on HA always. You guys have really solid fundamentals of the game, and explain your reasoning, way and beyond my ability to do so.

Anyways, it gives fish an un-necessary advantage, because we rely on them making donkish sized bets. Thats why it's imperative Stars doesn't do it, and I don't think theey will as too many 2+2'ers are against it.

I know what you're saying but, trust me, there could be one BIG button that said "Bet Correct Amount" next to a little tiny one that said "Ohhhh Min-Raise!" and you'd still be min-raised all day long. These "tools" and site enhancements are completely lost on the fishes. They're there to hopefully get lucky and strike it rich, not play well.

the new feature seems to be needful for cash game players, but I prefer S'n'G Tournaments up to 30 players
