Connection problems...any suggestions?

I can install every program but when I try to create an account in Noble or Titan...the program freezes on me. Paradise wont even connect and open up for me. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm on a University connection which has a firewall on its server for protection. File sharing programs don't work unless they can connect through http...etc. . . makes life hell.

...any suggestions/tricks on how I can connect?

Two suggestions.

1) Mail their support. It's probably possible by fiddling about with settings for you to be able to connect through a port that isn't blocked or something, but you'd need support to walk you through it probably.

2) Screw it and play on Stars/Party/FT/etc instead.

yeah it sounds like your firewall.
you usually cant get around it if it's set up by a corp. or a university.
