Collecting Chip, then playing with them

HI
Everyone I enjoy collecting chips I buy them for an investment, a great gift or to just sit around on a Sunday afternoon with some mates and have a game of poker.
Instead of playing with normal chips we often play with chips which are rare, I find it more exciting, just wondering if anyone else likes collecting poker chips.

Hi Jack
My collection is mostly from the 1950 s to 1960s, but I have been collecting the US poker hotshots collection, iv got most of the players now except for some of the big guns like Mike Matusow , T J Cloutier and Evelyn Ng dam she is hot and with a career winnings of $222,083, I wouldn’t like to play against her but I bet she can teach me a few things.
I got the US poker hotshot chips from this site,
http://www.collectablesmania.com/ProductLineItems.aspx?ws=125&CatID=1064

I am looking forward to completing the set but its taking a little longer than I thought, but each month I buy two or three more so I should have them soon.

If you believe that what I have posted is some sort of pitch then you are greatly mistaken, I am a collector of old chips I have a collection of about 3000 chips, and I also currently collecting the US poker hotshot.
I have also never met or talk to Jack before, so accusing us of some sort of act, is jumping the gun to say it lightly and I don’t appreciate some one how I have never met or talk to before, to accusing me of anything without proof.
One last point I have joined this site to talk to other poker players, about poker and chip collecting if this is the response I am going to get, after posting one link WHICH IS NOT A ACT, then I want be posting anymore.

Thanks for editing your last post which was
I like the pitch, how much is Jack getting for his act?
To your new post,
And here's the pitch.

Well done, let's see if you get any hits

I am not stupid, so don’t try and assume that I am, I can see why u edited your post, I think you have been smoking to much of that weed, and you need to look into seeking professional help.
I hope the other poker players on this site, are more serious then you are about poker and collecting.

I'm a serious player who likes to have fun playing the game, as for collecting chips, I'm sure that will come to mind sometime.

Really so do I, it’s a good way of releasing my built up aggression when I don’t fold when I should do, whilst playing Texas Holdem, but she also rubs my back and legs which I could never understand why she does that,
I don’t mind tho kind of like it lol.

That’s good I did find your joke about the weed funny, and I was laughing here in good old England.

STOP smoking the weed, it will do no good for you in the future, these are the side effects

Decreased coordination Increased heart rate
Altered pulmonary status
Altered body temperature
Reduced muscle strength
Decreased cerebral blood flow
Increased food consumption

Anxiety and panic
Paranoia
Confusion
Aggressiveness
Hallucinations
Sedation
Altered libido Possible suicidal ideation
Depersonalization

Poor sense of time
Worsened short-term memory
Addictive behaviors
Amotivational syndrome

Smoking pot causes changes in your brain's chemistry, specifically, inhibiting the function of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, a chemical that transfers information from one nerve cell to another. This accounts for what happens when a person is high--s/he loses his/her short-term memory. Smoking pot interferes with one's intellectual performance and impairs thinking, reading comprehension, and verbal and arithmetic problem solving.
Which will also affect you poker play?

Collecting, no. But trying to find old vintage chips that I like yes. I wouldn't say I collect them since I only have 2 old fashion poker chips but I still like having a couple of them. I also have a 500 chip from the WSOP which I now use as a card protector.
