Clearing The Pokerstars Bonus...

Hi Guys,

Didn't want to hijack Mr.Callaways thread, so here it is. What's the best way (or ways) to clear the Pokerstars bonus. I'm playing mostly $5.00 and $3.00 SnGs and doing quite well at them, but so far I have only 49 FPPs. That sucks. Any advice?

Gotta play rings, man. Play as high as you can afford because the bigger the pot, the more points you get. I don't think you even need to see the flop.

Play in the $1 SnG's and MTT's. You get 1 FPP for each of these you enter, the $3 and $5 tourneys give you 2 FPP's and 3 FPP's. By playing more $1 tourneys you'll earn more FPP's.

for $10 worth of buy ins(not including fee) you earn

$1 = 10 FPP (10 x 1)
$3 = 6 FPP (3 x 2)
$5 = 6 FPP (2 x 3)

EDIT: I agree with Mr Sticker about the ring games, I 've found that you need to play .25/.50 or higher to get pots big enough to earn a significant amount of FPP's. The $1 tourneys are great if you're not confident about your cash game and prefer sticking to the low buy in SnG's/MTT's.

EDIY: Your bonus dollars don't expire. They just sit in your account until cleared. Pretty cool.

PokerStars bonuses used to be much better when they were 5x until the most recent 7x reload bonus - at the 5x bonus, playing exclusively SNGs and MTTs equated to getting 100% of your tournament fees back.
