I think what furgeson is doing is great ....and yes i have been in an attempt to see what i could bring from virtually nothing. My biggest thing is having the time to enter as many $100 freerolls as are available on full tilt ....a friend of mine DShaf10 is doing it also ...we've only finished in the money 3 times in the last month I ran my $3 out pretty quick but he has been doing fairly well ...( he transferred $5 to me this morning and i won a 45 seat $1.25 tourney ) now my stack is over $22 so if patience is there and you play premium it can be done . good luck to you and keep me updated on your progress. look me up sometime too. I watched Chris during his 18 month (????, correct me if im wrong) challenge it amazed me...I tried a similar thing but I am never playing enough where i have the patience to try and earn a dollar every other night.....

my advice to people about this challenge is that we need to realize that we are not as good as chris, and as soon as we start getting into the high stakes cash games we could get torn apart...

on the other hand I believe that it is an important thing to do in learning bankroll management and for people who are just starting out where real money wont be an option for a while...

i decided to just deposit $200 and play casually....

who knows, maybe a CC member may be able to do the same thing....

and neenzy, post your results and tell us how you are doing so we can gladly follow along

I have been doing the same thing also. On Full tilt freerolls, I placed 12th, 18th, and 3rd in both NLH and Razz was 3rd. I had worked it to almost $100 and got a little crazy and lost it. On pokerstars, I played the freeroll and got 1st out of 8,000 for $32 and played the $3 re-buy and got killed and had to re-buy $30 worth and made $22. AA KK AK QQ JJ plus many others I had got busted by total crap hands. I had almost 80,000 in chips and raised 4x the blind with A A. I guy pushes all in for 50,000 and I called he had Q Q and got runner runner heart for a flush, river was Ah giving me a set. So the quest is on and now I need to start over.

Me to

I also started this challenge but at 5 different sites about 3 months ago.
Here is whats in my accounts as of today from placing in the money at different freerolls:
Poker Stars = $15.40
Absolute Poker = $2.40
Ultimate Bet = $3.65
Full Tilt = $6.28
Bodog = $8.35
I'm going to continue playing freerolls but I'm also going to start playing
sit-n-gos for real money (at the lowest levels of course) to see if I can possibly start building these accounts at a quicker pace, although while still playing the freerolls I'll probably only play 1 or 2 real money sit-n-gos per day.
