| Learn the shuffle, twirl and thumb flip (see link above). Those are the three you see most commonly at the table. Get them down and you'll look right at home. Other ones (especially showy ones like the butterfly) will just get you branded as a tosser anyway. Magicians learn them to make people go wow - nobody at a poker table is gonna say wow and think you're great for being able to do them. |
