| CC Chris Ferguson Challenge There's another thread about this in announcements but not many people seem to look on there so i have decided to ask about it here. From September the 1st if interest is good and a good number of people say min 20 people want to start a CC Chris Ferguson Challenge will be running and the main aim of this challenge is to be the first CC member to go from $0 (with proof) to $1000 (with proof also) Weekly, fortnightly or monthly leaderboards will be created by somebody ill be happy to do so. Also the person who earns the most in the month will be stated and any other significant wins. We may even create a blog to track everybodys progress etc. So this is just a general thread to see who is interested and would be willing to participate.Rules etc may be created when we know numbers etc. |

| re: CC Chris Ferguson Challenge poker I'm interested, but the proof of zero will be a sticking point for me, as I imagine it will be for others who have already started. The concept is sound, but I'm not willing to empty either of my accounts for the sake of a CC thread. Bodog would have been a great place for me to start, but I've cashed in 3 FR's in 2 days and moved from zero to $15.90. .... Just had an epiphany. We could cut & paste our statements (for the sites that provide it). We'd need to be more lenient regarding the start date, but considering the number of Ferguson Challenge threads over the last month, I'll wager that the interest would increase. Instead of all starting on the same day & comparing BR's, it would just be a matter of comparing BR's over # of days from first cash. Just some thoughts to ruminate upon. eCash Statement For Kai Show transactions for View Statement For: Today Last 3 Days Last 7 Days Last 31 Days (from) Aug 11, 2008 Total credits US$ 22.50, total debits (US$ 6.60), net activity US$ 15.90, ending balance US$ 15.90. | I See what your saying but if a person has too much in their account this can be a significant advantage. The proof which you have gone from 0 - 15 bucks is perfect for current people who have done this but i think there should be a maximum amount that people are allowed to enter with.say a person has got to 300 from 0 and enters thats a massive advantage. regarding the start date i think this would be a good date for people who want to actually start from 0 on that date and see how it goes. However the start date could be as early as next week if we get 20 or 30 members who want to do it now and want to get the show on the road because nobodys going to go from 0 - 1000 in two weeks. People who have already started say should have a maximum amount they can start with say $20 and have to provide proof of them starting from 0. I hope there is an interest because i think it would be very hard to do this and be good if 1 or more CC members could do this. Shall we consider this as a sign up thread now then ? |

| Logistically speaking, why don't we see about a mod creating a sub-forum entitled CC Ferguson Challenge (or some other title in case FullTilt has trademarked that). Any willing participant can start their own thread by posting a screenshot of their starting balance, and update it periodically. Aim for weekly or anytime they make a particularly good score. We could have a sticky thread dedicated to discussions on our respective progress, so that the individual threads don't get bogged down with extraneous chat. |

| I think this is a great idea. Some friendly competition among the CC community? That said, I'll refrain from making a definite decision until we have a few more details since I've already started the challenge (mostly through Bodog, but I also have a little money from freerolls from FullTilt and UltimateBet) so my participation may depend on what site is used. |

| i think that this is a great idea. i would gladly enter into this challenge. but u should make it anyone entering has to send in a screenshot of his/her acct. balance below .10 (since for .9c u cant do anything anyway) and u should make an official start date of this. i see people say they already starting...thats not very fair. i will be cashing out my fulltilt acct. at the end of this month and starting over. this sounds like a good challenge. gl to all involved. |

| Here's a novel thought...why not ask FT to help? Say limit the number of freerolls and/or cash starts you can enter per week, and they can keep track of the money won per player and keep the leaderboards for us, as mebbe a tune up for an FT wide "Play like Jesus to Play WITH Jesus" or some such...mebbe the top 5 win seats to play against Chris Ferguson...just an idea... |

That being said, I don't see any need for a restriction to a specific poker room as some have mentioned. They each have their own merits. Doyle's Room has nightly freerolls that payout to 600 places and 9 cent SnG's that make starting out a snap. Bodog has it's beginner tourneys that pay 50% of the field. FullTilt has, well, I don't know what they have because I don't really play there but they do have Chris Ferguson so that's gotta be something. I'm probably one of the few, but I haven't made any deposits to any of my accounts so I won't be able to cash out and right now, I don't have any plans to do so. If anything, I'll just follow along and not actually participate (as mregister2 said), which is fine by me. The question of whether or not to use a specific poker room, I don't have that much input on. The only thought I have is that the more people who participate, the more difficult it'll be to limit things to one poker room. Regardless of these issues, good luck to all! |

| Right ok we dont have to use any 1 poker site but id say FT is the best because of the low limits and 10 cent tourney which could be a huge BR boost if won. There is an official sign up thread now in the poker general section so please add your name to the list and i will make the rules and regs etc. Any suggestions welcome. |
