CardsChat Merchandise

This is just an idea for the main leaders of cardschat.

I played in a tournament at a casino today, a pretty big 300 person tourny and made it to the second day (tomorrow funilly enough). Anyway, when leaving i found out that there will be tv cameras there tomorrow. I assume not big company cameras however since we would have surely been told before, but we have been told it will be aired in the new year (this is in the uk by the way). It will probably be aired for about 20 minutes on a remote channel that noone watches and will probably only be shown in the surrounding area. Anyway this isnt the point i was just creating a background.

So this got me thinknig about how the guys at the top of cc should try getting the word out more. Since i have printed out the cardschat logo and put it in a glass chip for a card protector to get the name out on tv (well to the proabably about 10 people who will watch the show when aired, it may not even be on tv, they could just put it on the internet).

So ye, on that basis maybe some of the players who play live and maybe play in big name tournys could sport some cardschat tshirts or something, even in big online tournys like the wcoop on stars, just put the cardschat logo as your picture.

Just a thought anyway

Oh yeah, hey Mods......Do the Hoodies come in any other color besides White and Ash Grey? I like dark hoodies, like black.

I could be wrong on this, but in a larger televised tourney, if it's not a sponsor they have agreed to they will have you put tape over a logo, or they will fuzz it out. I've seen this on WPT & WSOP broadcasts. Not sure about the smaller live tournies that are aired though. Definitely a good idea for regular live games for sure.

ahh i did not know about the shop or the fact they blur out sponsors they dont agree to. Anyway the tourny i was in was a bit of a shambles, there were 2 'cameras' but no pocket cams for anyone to know what cards you had. Can't see hoe it would work, but anyway i just finished third and got away from that mess of a tourny

Player sponsors simply have to pre-register with the WPT. Here is the form that Nick would have to fill out.

I don't think the WSOP has pre-qualifying form, but they have some restrictions on logo size, and certain products/brands that are not allowed; see here.
