Cardschat Blog discussion thread

I just thought it would be nice for us to have a thread to discuss the awesomeness/suckiness (delete as applicable) of the CC Blog.

Actually, I'm only really posting this because...

...is probaby the most wonderful thing I've heard all week. <3 FP.

Yep, I laughed at FPs simile too.

I`d say we don`t make enough of the blog. It`s not prominent. I hardly ever remember to look at it personally, and I am one of the CC addicts that checks the forum 3 times a day. I`d guess that means that more casual members never see it at all.

I read some stuff on the blog but wasnt sure what the blog subject really was. Poker hockey house moving or what. Or is it about anything? Awesomeness or suckiness it is hard to decide. Is it about a particular subject or about the people who blog there or all of the above i dont know.

The subject of the blog is mostly the lives of (right now) two online poker players; Fredrik and Taylor. Or, me and ChuckTs. Most of it is about poker. Sometimes, like right now, other aspects of my life are so dominant that I want to write about them.

Honestly, knowing what to write about is one of the hardest things for me. I remember asking awhile back - probably close to a year now - what people wanted out of the blog. Some wanted strategy ("only strategy, all the time" I believe was how MrSticker put it) and others, like juiceeQ for instance, also wanted to know more about life in Sweden and what I was up to. So I've tried to find the happy medium between those two.

Some months, like this one, I don't play much poker at all and the weighting tends to be more towards the private stuff. Some months I'm an online poker fiend and the strategy posts will flow.

If there's some aspect that any of you want me to blog about, just let me know. I'm very flexible. Also, I'm very grateful for ideas, since I'm (at least most days) at a perpetual writer's block.

I think the blog is great FP. I read the story of swallowing gum that you had a link to the other day. That was one of the funniest things I've read online in quite a while.

I read it all the time. Both you and ChuckT do a great job.

These blogs are great. For a Swedish guy, FP can sure dish out a good tongue lashing in English. I enjoy the topics you've chosen.
