I guess I'm a day late but I have 2 sets of the Harrington on Cash Games books. I would be willing to send them US Mail C.O.D. for $55.00. Message me here at CC. (Sorry Vac i just got my second set today, a gift from my Father-in-Law. We could have made deal I'm only about 15 min. from you.)

I'll definitely review it. Read the first 2 sections, basically review for people who have experience with cash games, but it has provided an extremely solid foundation. There were several concepts that had taken me a long time to grasp and were just beginning to formulate and he explained them so well I felt like an idiot not understanding them from when I first started playing. He goes through concepts like wa/wb, why you should bluff with your worst hands and not your marginal hands, and the power of semi-bluffing. As always, he does a great job with RL examples, and the best part is that although he keeps the story true to what happened, he provides commentary on what he would have done differently in many cases. Another big thing is that he keeps you guessing (well not guessing, but paying attention). He'll show a play and give all the reasoning why it's a great play and then at the end show how all the logic that he used (and the reader most likely believed) was completely wrong based on a few different factors. He really gets you thinking about everything. I'm not going to spoil stuff like individual hands, but so far in the first 2 sections it was a really solid introduction to NLHE cash games, and even the best players can benefit from even a simple comprehensive review. He does it pretty quickly and it is meant as a review. This doesn't look to be the first book an NLHE cash game player picks up and benefits from. But I have high hopes for the rest of it, as the section that covered most of the stuff I had a general understanding of were really well written and explained both concisely and logically.

I can't believe the difference between amazon.ca and amazon.com I paid $45.10 for both books and you paid $71. That's pretty brutal. Mine just got shipped the other day they could even be in my mail box right now but I don't have a key
