can you really trade PS play money to real $$?

first post, so hi everyone

just like to ask those in the know, can i trade my play money? got a few million in the bank (only time im gonna say that in my life) and have seen a couple of websites that will trade the chips for between $10 and $20 a million.

has anyone actually tried this or is it a scam? (why anyone would want to scam you out of play chips i dont know, but probably for the same reason they would want to but play chips in the first place).

can it go straight into my PS account like a player to player transfer?

if anyone has done this sucessfully which sites did you use?

There are people that buy play money, it would just be two different player to player transfers. You would probably send them they play money and they will send you the real money after.

I've never done it myself but I'd always be afraid of getting scammed.

i sold play money on pokerstars through bigbadbullets.com a while ago, got 5 dollars for 500k chips... i think they've stopped buying from PS though... i'm going to look at tradeyourchips.com, first time i'm hearing about it

yeh i did big bad bullets the same as the last guy but i waited to long to cash in my play money but now all of u sudden it doesnt work for me...everytime i go onto the site it has a sign with a man and women in a sexual postiton saying work in progress..i dont know why. but i dont think they sell for pokerstars anymore. they should tho

I can understand wanting to sell your play $$ chips, but who exactly BUYS play money chips?

What would be the reasoning? UB has points games and tourneys for real $. I could undertsand buying those, they can be used to get buy-ins for $, but play money? All I have to do is email and they give me more, if they haven't already auto replaced. Kinda curious about this.....
