Can someone point me in the right direction for position advice? Breaking even :/

Okay so I currently play $2 SNGS at FTP and I pretty much break even.. Hopefully when I get my HUD setup I'll do a bit better, but I really kinda wish I could do without..

I'm having a bit trouble understanding posistion and what you should do in certain areas with certain cards -- I think -- I think I play all the positions of the table pretty much the same I'm sure..

Any advice links for help ect would be great!

Typically, it is understood to play tight in early positions and loose in later positions.

i.e. raising with A10o UTG is not a great move, but raising on the button with limpers or folds to you with A10o is. A lot of it depends on table dynamics as well, like whether you are in front of or behind a maniac LAG, how many players are left, etc.

Do a search on the forums or just google "playing position poker" and do some reading, you should be on your way in no time

Read the Harrington on hold-em series.

That will probably improve you the most for tourneys.
