| Can someone point me in the right direction for position advice? Breaking even :/ Okay so I currently play $2 SNGS at FTP and I pretty much break even.. Hopefully when I get my HUD setup I'll do a bit better, but I really kinda wish I could do without.. I'm having a bit trouble understanding posistion and what you should do in certain areas with certain cards -- I think -- I think I play all the positions of the table pretty much the same I'm sure.. Any advice links for help ect would be great! |

| Typically, it is understood to play tight in early positions and loose in later positions. i.e. raising with A10o UTG is not a great move, but raising on the button with limpers or folds to you with A10o is. A lot of it depends on table dynamics as well, like whether you are in front of or behind a maniac LAG, how many players are left, etc. Do a search on the forums or just google "playing position poker" and do some reading, you should be on your way in no time |

Read the Harrington on hold-em series. That will probably improve you the most for tourneys. |
