Can someone explain for me please?

I've heard the term several times already here on CC, and would like someone to please send a link or explain to me exactly what IS "fold equity"?

Here's a quick version. Someone will probably do better

If you raise someone then there is a chance that they will fold and give you pot. If you call then you can only win by having the better hand (or becoming the better hand on later streets).

The percentage of time that you win the pot by getting the other guy to fold converted into cash is your fold equity.

(just realised that's not massively clear at the end, need an example with numbers)

beautiful art. what kind of music do you perform? are you a singer, songwriter, musican? i love music and among many other things my father and grandmother were both musicans

All three... I've studied piano classically since I was four... that means I've been at it for twenty-(mumblemumble) years. When I was a teenager I started writing and singing my own stuff. If you really wanna hear, (and please tell me if posting this here is against rules or regs) then go to
