Came back from 120

Ok, thought I'd just post this to say it can be done, and also so next time I get a bad beat I can remember this and the good beats I had.
$1 SnG 9 seater. 2000 chips each to start. blinds 20/40. basically i made a very stupid move (thought he was flush drawing) second hand and end up getting beat, and all I have left is 120 chips. so i sit tight, get lucky on my big blind, and start my comeback. cut a long story short, i win when I need to, get some incredible good beats against other people, and get a couple of nice starting hands, JJ, KK and win with them, and in the end I actually win the thing. I'd like to say it was all down to skill, but I'd be lying. Most of it was pure luck, (4 low starting pairs caught sets on the flop), some was donk play by others, and a little bit was good play by me, but in the end I'm chuffed to take down the $4.50 prize! It can be done.

I've been fortunate to do this a couple of times also. It's a good feeling to know that you can come back from being that far down and win the tourney. Helps put things in perspective when in tough situations in the future, and definately helps your confidence.

i got a bad beat and kinda did the same. yesterday i went down to 400 and the blinds were 300.
I played tight, goin all in when i needed and was soon up to 3k i ended up placing although only won $1.20

Definitely a confidence-booster. Thing is, whenever I've been real short-stacked before early in a SnG, I tend to bet on anything and kinda expect to get beat and write the entry fee of there and then. But this time I thought, 'Ok, lets see if I can come back' and it worked. After a few wins I was just looking to place in the top 3 (money spots) but when we got down to the money spots I got some incredible hands and won through. The nice thing was that both of the other two guys complimented me on my comeback!
