| Calling time on another player. I was watching WPT last night and Roland de Wolfe and his boy toy Juha Helppi were among the fnial five. Two players were amateurs and one of them was deciding to call a massive raise with AQ when Wolfe and Helppi called time on him ... after 15 seconds. Now I fully recognize all is fair in poker but I mean 15 seconds? Later someone was commenting on how they never called time on each other. I don't have any live tourney experience but I wonder what is normal? What is right? |

| ...no....it definitly isnt right to call time like this...ive had cases in which time was called, but thats ok cause i had taken awhile...i mean like prob 2/3 minutes...in that case, then prob its ok...bt 15 seconds is rediculous...i dont think theres ever a hand in poker played in which nobosy takes more than 15 second.s...maybe he had been acting around taking too long on previous occasions.. or maybe he was geting about 25:1 on his money, or something...bt otherwise 15 seconds is rediculous ot call time//he musta been an ass or something. |

| clearly he was probably trying to get to the other player by doing that calling time that fast maybe to annoy the other play or something what other reason would you call time after 15 seconds on a player other then to get under his skin ? |

| re: Calling time on another player. poker R and J had the top two stacks. Roland wasn't even in the hand which is the part the bothers me the most. Juhha was all in preflop to win a 60k (approx) pot by shoving 600k chips in. The thinker had 230k or so to call with AQos. I can only go by what I saw on tv but it just didn't seem right to me. |

| its not wrong but its not certaninly not polite, calling time on a guy just 15 seconds, i would fold. and every time its his turn i will call time just to piss him off. i don't care about (expletive) wholes and if the there mean i can be the biggest (expletive) in the world. |

It is a bit harsh to call clock after 15 seconds but is this angel shooting for the pros? |

I'd put my bet on the pros trying to rattle him, though. Not nice -- but with the amount of money at stake in those tourneys... does "nice" matter? |

No he made a comment about the quick calling of the clock as did another of the players a few hands later when a similar situation arose and Roland was not so quick with Juhha. As I say, it's not even so much how quick it was but that Roland wasn't even in the hand. |
