| Bye Chat! Full Tilt banned my chat for SIX MONTHS for telling someone to shut up and play. A guy was at a table and was putting down everyones play. He was the "pro" at the table. Finally after about an hour of reading it I said, "Shut up and play." He says, "REPORTED" and I get an email the next day saying my chat has been removed for six months. Oh well. My name on Full Tilt is BlovesL, so If you see me at the table today and say "nh" "gg" or try to strike up a convo...you'll be talking to yourself. lol Anyways...gl all on the felt. Cheers! |

| ok. please be honest. you said "shut up and play" not something like "shut the f*** up and play you dumb motherf***er". i cant believe they would ban your chat six moths for just saying shut up and play. pokerstars will start with a one day ban for first offense, so six months? hmmmmm |

| I've had it banned before. So this is just the build up. I was playing at a table with a friend of mine and called him a ****ing asshole as a joke and someone at the table was bothered by it and reported me. I got 3 months for that one. Then I called some guy from the UK a "cnt" (how I spelt it) and got 1 month. I've lost my chat maybe 4-5 times, more for using "bad words" at the table. Not being a jerk. The "cnt" comment to the UK Guy was the one time I was "internet arguing". lol |

| Ive only said things to people who act like they're pros. Most of the time I stay quiet and just say nh or gg. There's been a few times where I would say things, but its only when others start. I never say shit to pick a fight or act like a jerk. I treat people with respect unless they act in a foolish matter and direct their negative comments toward me. |

In a poker game, you are there to make money. Who cares if the others don`t want to be friends ? Let them be lonely as well as broke. |

Why do you think it's okay to use that kind of language anytime, let alone on a public site? I am seriously offended by that type of language and behavoir...and the abbreviation doesn't make it any less offensive.....Personally, I think you got off easy. |

| meh this is like the only time I'll chat. I've told countless people to please just shut up and play when they were tapping the tank other attacks are uncalled for but getting someone to quit chasing the fish away is definitely fine to do and shut up and play is definitely not too severe. Maybe they were just quick to pull the trigger because of the history? |

Pardon me, but that is illogical. If you have no time to chat, how did you manage to earn a chat ban ? Did you breathe too hard ? |

| If you use foul language in the chatbox you deserve any ban you get. And I am NOT personally offended by it. But you violate the terms of service when you do it, and get what you signed up for. Also.. if you are going to heckle, or needle, there are SOOO many better ways of doing it than acting banal. Players who curse foolishly into the chatbox earn a tickmark in the "fish" side of my evaluation checklist since it shows 1. A lack of self restraint (which might go along with a tilt tendency) 2. Bad decision making (self explanatory) 3. Lack of creativity (and possibly intelligence) Of course the trash talker might actually be good at the game, but more often than not the people acting like clowns at the table are not. |

| If you've had a previous chat revocation, and you still continued to play on full tilt during that time, I am sure they will be happy to revoke your chat for a longer period of time knowing you'll still play there. Sorry to hear you lost your chat over something so small, but as many people here have said, we are not sure if you are telling us everything. Personally, I don't agree with people's chat being removed for long periods of time because some people use chat to their advantage in game. |

| Good time for a reminder, I think. If this had been a forum game and abusive language was reported to us, you'd face sanctions here at the forum as well. We would investigate first and really wouldn't punish for saying "shut up and play", but abusive language/threats have no place in our games and we don't tolerate it. |

| re: Bye Chat! poker I've never seen the point of arguing with people at the tables. Short of an "lol" every once in a while I'm keeping quite. And its kind of entertaining seeing people go off on each other. Its also weird that this guy reported you. Time to pull it back a bit I'd say. |
