building a bankroll on full tilt Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a low stakes player to replenish a bankroll on FT. I've been playing on Bodog and PS, low stakes sit n go's,$8 beginners on Bodog and$5 DoN's on PS and usually make the money. Can't find anything similar on FT. Gotta believe there must be something similar, any suggestions? Thanks for any input

what is a DoN? I have been playing on FTP for about 4 months now and just recently have built a nice bankroll from freerolls. If you have no money in FTP, i wold try to play in exclusive private freerolls and if you have a small amount of moey to get you started, i would play the micro stakes. Play solid, wait for good hands and you should be able to get paid, thats what i do. best of luck to you.

Also $0.01/$0.02 NLHE cash games. What are you looking for? SnG's with flatter payouts to more people on FT? I dont think they have those. |

re: building a bankroll on full tilt poker I have built my bank roll on a few sites from playing good forum games both freeroll and buy ins. Cardschat freeolls are a great way to get started. Once some funds are available invest it in the buy in games. I have done very well using this method on a few different sites.

I've adopted the Chris Ferguson method to build a bankroll and bankroll management: Never buy into a cash game or a Sit & Go with more than 5 percent of your total bankroll (there is an exception for the lowest limits: you can buy into any game with a buy-in of $2.50 or less). Never buy into a multi-table tournament for more than 2 percent of your total bankroll and I'm allowed to buy into any multi-table tournament that costs $1. If at any time during a No-Limit or Pot-Limit cash-game session the money on the table represents more than 10 percent of your total bankroll, you must leave the game when the blinds reach you. One great benefit from this approach to bankroll management is that it ensures you'll be playing in games you can afford. You'll never play for very long in a game that's over your head because, when you're losing, you'll have no choice but to drop down to a smaller game. You can continue to sharpen your game at that lower limit until your bankroll allows you to move up and take another shot. These rules also prevent you from being completely decimated by a bad run of cards. Give it a try. I've been doing this very disciplined approach for just over 6 weeks and I've tripled my bankroll even with a bad run of cards.

it's EASY!!! Hey, This past month, I went from $15 to $83... after doing the TAKE 2 promotion and earning the $50 from that... but to get to my $15... I played the freerolls... such as the CC freerolls and the daily dollar freeroll... and the ferguson freeroll... to get $1, and I kept playing and building up my dollars... in till I had $5, I changed them from tournament dollars in to cash dollars... that I could use to sit at the micro stake tables to play... Best of Luck to Everyone at the Tables

I just started playing FTP again. Deposited a measly $20 and have run it up to just over $50 so far. Mainly grinded 0.01/0.02, and recently moved up to .02/.05 because I know I can beat these levels. Its a bit more of an aggressive style but if you know you are able to beat the levels then fewer buyins are alright. Last time I built up my roll from $5 a friend gave me to over $200 with HUSNGs but I find that they tilt me too easily. if .05NL is too high for you, I suggest multitabling .02NL once you can for a higher hourly return.

re: building a bankroll on full tilt poker ..i think the country frreeolls and the daily dollars freerolls are the way to go..wouldnt bother with the 100dollar freerolls, take 3days roughly to win 4 cent (maybe an exageration but u get my point)..but u got to be diciplined and not spend it all in one shop...
