| Building a bankroll In July I decided that I was gonna make an attempt at building a bankroll. I was too young to deposit so I had to start with $0 on full tilt poker. A couple weeks in I won a private freeroll for $28. I then made a deep run in a $1 tournament to bring me up close to $50. After a rough stretch in august where my bankroll shrunk to $12 I made yet another deep run in a $1 tournament to get me back up to around $40. In September I played a full tilt promotion where if I played two tables of ring games simutaneously every day full tilt would award me with $50. I made $10 during the month playing 1c/2c ring games and got the promotion which got me to about $100. I'm now multi tabling playing five 1c/2c tables and two 2c/5c tables. Players are just impossible to read at small stakes cause they play any two cards so I'm playing straight abc poker for now. I'm working on preflop skills mostly. What can I do to continue building my bankroll? What have I done wrong so far in my process? What are some websites and books that can help me? I don't have any specific question I'm just looking for help on my game and bankroll building. Thanks. |

| Welcome to CC With 100 dollars and a good grip on the game I would try playing one table of 10NL instead of your 2NL and see If you can handle it. You sound disciplined enough to manage Bankroll so If you get hammered (which I doubt you will) at 10NL then move back down. Reading players at 10NL is still a challenge but I think the preflop play is much better as well as people sometimes actaully folding to big raises. As far as books, I haven't read any myself so someone else will have to recomend something to you. |
