Building Bank Roll - Start $50 Started Sunday AM with $50 Entered $39 6 person SNG to Sunday Million. It went to heads up and I lost with me> KK vs. AsQh. No ace hit but 4 hearts on the board killed me. Down to $11 Start playing at the .10/.25c tables on PS.

Why would you play a tournament with 4/5 of your bankroll? You should have been playing $1 sit and goes with that, and with $11 you can't play .10/.25 tables you should be playing .01/.02. There is no way you will be successful at building a bankroll if you keep playing like that. There is plenty of articles about BR management around the forum I'd recommend you read some.

I totally agree. I was kinda on tilt from the bad beat during the tournament. I am however playing Pot Limit. I've always played better on tables that poeple have to worry a little bit more about calling $6 vs. calling .40c ya know. I have more money that this in my live poker BR, but that's a different ball game.

Your $11 isn't even enough to cover a full buy in, if you suffer one bad beat you are going to lose all of your money no matter how good of a player you are. Here are some threads you should read: Moving to a higher level comfortability vs. BRM

re: Building Bank Roll - Start $50 poker Like I said "I was kinda on tilt". Like I said "I was heads up to go to the Sunday Million and got a giant bad beat of 4 hearts on the board flush to vs. my KK". Again I totally agree with your BRM comments.

So there have a lot of ups and downs with my BR. I actually built it up pretty good, but have since then went to $0.00 down from a high of $420.00. I lost it at Foxwoods on 2 really tuff hands. Hand One: Me - AKs Idiot - 73u Flop K73 rainbow - He raised to $6.00 pre-flop I re-raised to $12 everyone folds, he calls. He only had $50 left he went all in and I called. I didn't put him on K7, I only worried about a set. He didn't have a set he had the roulette hand of 73. I lost $62 there. Down to $358 ---- Hand Two - I was a little steaming so I should have just left. Me - 88 Good Player (not donk by any means) - 10 10 Everyone limped in pre-flop, flop comes out 10, 8, 2 rainbow. Check, Check, Check, 4 people bet/call $35.00 - it comes to me and I go all in, fold, call, everyone else folds, turn hands. Obviously a good hand, I just had bad timing and I didn't put someon to limp in with 10's and/or check after that flop. Oh well... Easy come easy go. I'll start over in a couple of weeks and be a litte more patient. I learned from many mistakes. 1st playing over my BR.
