Break Time

How do you handle your breaks while playing poker or working at your day job?

Do you take them on a regular schedule, or do you wait until you absolutly have to take a break?

I'm not very good t taking scheduled breaks, and as a result, I end up getting, well, stressed out before I take my break. I am thinking that if I took them at scheduled intervals, that I might do better, both in my job and in playing poker. What do you think? <other than I used a lot of commas> : )

Tournament breaks mean a bathroom trip and fridge raid. Work breaks mean dicking around and trying to put off going back to work.

I try to take a nap during my breaks. Alertness means better production (both job and poker).

hehe i love to nap. i agree wtih cheezy madman.. for poker, just go pee and get something to eat! lol

i think i just use the restroom if i need it, food or drink if i need it, otherwise i just kinda wander aimlessly like a zombie, but i'll take as many breaks as i'm given to daydream about better things...sam for both cept the daydreaming part i dont do during poker its more reflecting on wat im doing right n wrong
