BR Management question?

So, i know that you should only risk 5% of you BR at a time. But, what if you double up or even triple up in a cash game?
For example, lets say you have a BR of $200, you should be playing NL10. What if you double up and have $20 on that table?
You would then be playing with a much higher amount of you BR. I would leave if i slowly made my way to $20, but I'm talking about getting there in under 15 hands. If you left straight away, that would be hit and run wouldn't it?

Chris Ferguson`s advice is that, if you win enough that you now have more than 10% of your BR at the table, you leave when the blinds reach you.

That is great advice. One of the ways that casinos make so much money is people don't quit while they are ahead; they keep playing until they have lost. Take your profit and run. Then start over with another 5% buy-in.

Exception!

When you get really far ahead in a low buy-in no limit table ... it's good to be king!

Let's say you buy in the max limit of 60 dollars at a 1/2 no limit game and you have a really good run of it and have 300 dollars in chips in front of you. Bully the table, avoid the 120 dollar stacks and push around the 60 dollar stacks.

Set your limit of how much your willing to lose of your winnings and CRUSH the game/table. This is of course very dependent upon how your playing, how bad your opponents are and the fall of the cards. By all means if your ahead and losing get out, but if you have a dominating chip advantage and opponents are giving your their chips ... CRUSH the game.

I've seen this many times in live tables, I won't buy-in at a table if someone is sitting there with over 5 times the max buy-in. (Unless I'm in top form and can afford the hit, if I can double or triple through the guy currently crushing the table I'll play.) This is part of picking the table/game to play.
