I deposited $50 on full tilt about a week ago and been playing the $1 SnG's and 0.01/0.02 6max games.

Upto $62.31.

When is it a good idea to start the 0.02/0.05 games and $2?

It depends on your standard of play and your willingness to re-deposit if you go broke. If you are in a position to reload another $50 without much trouble, i'd recommend playing the low stakes SnG's with 25 buy in's, meaning you could play $2 now if you wanted. Higher stakes require slightly tighter limits, i'd say 40-50 buy ins for $10 for example, so $500.
Cash games are different, it depends if you buy in for the max, min, or somewhere in-between. I wouldn't be too strict at micro levels though, just keep your game tight and leave the table UP!
Think i'd rather take a risk at 25 SnG buy ins just to avoid the $1 games. Its the same standard, so only a very slightly higher risk, but for double the reward! The only exception would be the $1 45 man SnG's, they give you some great experience for the smaller MTT's for cheap.
If your playing on FT like you mention, remember that you pay the same rake in $1 games as $2 games (.25). It only steps up in higher levels.

I don't know about the sng's but i started playing 5nl cash games with $100 and thought 20BI's there was plenty, 25-30BI's for higher cash games is comfortable but for 5nl 20BI's should be fine, keep grindin man

Personally, I don't like playing the $1 SNG's because the rake is the same on the $2 ones.

Like the sound of the $1 45man ones too.

There is also a 90man double stack $1 which offers good experience too.

I would suggest having more buyins available for the MTT's though.

To answer your question, I think you are ready for the $0.02/0.05 NL now as the standard of play is much the same.

Don't be afraid to drop back down a level if you lose though.

Well, eventually you are going to get tired of playing .01/.02 cent blinds. Trust me, I've been there. Not so much fun. But, I strongly recommend checking out the FTP Academy. There's a section about Chris Ferguson and how to build a BR with specific instructions. Never buy in for more than 5% of your BR. Check it out, its awesome!

Yes you try play higher on micro, but if you lost more many you go lower CG.

Sticking to BR management has done great wounders. Plus if u've got the patience to see it thru, u've got the patience on the tables!

Upto $95 now on FT. Havn't got a aim and i don't know when i'll cash out, but all i can say is that i'm havin fun takin ppl money!

Is $50 a big amount for you? I mean does it hurt you if you lose it? If you can redeposit easily, i'd actually start playing the $5 sngs already, tbh.

Otherwise, I would most certainly play the $2 sngs now, and only move down if your BR goes below $40. Start taking shots at $5 sngs when you reach $100 or something.

BRM is a nice concept, but as long as you play micro stakes, i do believe you can be quite aggressive BRM wise. The 3 keys to aggressive BRM, though, are
1. move down as aggressively as you move up. otherwise you'll go busto
2. don't play with scared money. if it doesn't feel confortable at the higher stake, you're not ready to move up yet.
3. you need to get a feel of your edge. BRM is only good when your expectation is positive in the games you play. Only move up when you do have a +EV.
