| Books. Hi folks. I've recently decided to get some poker books. I just picked up what's considered an all time classic, Caro's Book of Tells. While I was impressed with the information it provided, right down to discovering leaks in my own game, I was disappointed in how outdated it was. As well as reading a review on Super System, it just covers too many variants of poker for me. I like all variants of poker, but NLHE is primarily it for me in terms of trying to turn a profit when walking away from the tables. Anyone that's "read all the greats" that can provide a top 5 or top 10 of must have books? Looking for books either focused on NLHE or ones that can be applied to all poker variants (such as Caro's Book of Tells). Thanks in advance. PS - anyone venturing to their local B&M today? My friends trying to talk me into going for Memorial Day cause "all royals pay 25k today!" I'd rather stop by the book store and get a book to read after work, I consider it a more proven investment. |
