the report on daniel's book sounds good, i'll check into it. i don't read many books on poker, since there is so much to read in the forums and different sites. plus the best teacher is experience.

Thanks for the reveiw Stick. I think about 90% of poker books are all the same, especially for more advanced players. Ussually its the author trying to make money imo...I mean they are a poker player, they are hustling

All in all, it comes down to that it is prett hard to teach someone how to be a perfect player..experince is best, but moves and tips help too.

If you've played for 2 years, then you probably would want a book that addresses a certain part of your game. Tournaments, early, mid, or late stages? Cash games? Poker psychology? Poker mathematics? Etc., etc., etc.

You can read a few more reviews on my blog and then you can use the search function on Cardschat to look for more info on "poker books" that might suit your needs. Good luck.
