Bodog Fish

Hi, i found Bodog.com through this site (hope u got commission).
This site has fish GALORE! I mean... i think i'm a fish... but i am making 10$ an hour consistently all evening at simple Pot Limit Holdem, the minimum 10$ buy in one... and i dont know about the tourneys, but i seem to be doing well. They took a check... which was awesome since most of them require neteller, etc...

I mean... its sick how often I total bluff... and GET CALLED by worse hands than i thought i was 100% bluffing with...

I'm there! Yep, that's what I heard. Why is it that some sites attract bad players? Any theories?

Well... i think that one possibility could be the guides that are out there to teach people how to use BONUSES... the lovely bonus at BODOG of 10% bonus immediately upon deposit, and on all redeposits is quite nice... so yeah...

The thing I heard about BODOG is it is a gambling site! You can bet on Football, baseball, horses....all sports I guess, there is a Casino and a poker room. They are NOT seperate sites. So what is happening here is people are winning $ in the other areas ie.... sports betting and the casino and bringing it right to the poker rooms and dumping it to us!

wow... thats awesome... i am doing insanely well in a 20$ tourney... 2000$ guaranteed, came out to like 2200$ after all buy ins... hopefully can get top 5ish... 1st is 666$

got knocked from my tourney...

guy with 55 went all in vs my QQ and caught to take me to under the average... then go trapped... to knock me out...
went from 2nd place to out in 2 hands...

Bodog is my favourite site, and my major earner. The standard of play is quite poor, and the blind structure in MTTs and STTs is fairly relaxed, so the better players have a chance to profit.

Downside is, wherever there are fish making dumb calls you`re going to get more bad beats.

I'm an American player and I haven't played much latley since the site I used to play on the most stop taking money from US players, figured this was as good a time as any to take a small break.

I was reading the Netteller won't be sending money to poker sites any more either. If i decide to play a site that still takes US players like Bodog, how do I get my money there. I have a netteller account but I guess that's out.

Where did you read that, m8 ? Last I heard, the Neteller situation was as described here:

Neteller News and the US Ban

Basically, they are carrying on for now and won`t ban Americans unless and until this new law is clarified.

i think neteller will stay open til the bill comes into effect...
I used a check... typed in the routing # etc, and it worked...
Yeah... i mean... i'm fine with 55 pushing all in preflop... not sure why I called with QQ, except he'd been pushing a lot... if he catched 1 out of 5 times, thats fine... he aint getting proper odds... just disappointing cuzz i woulda been chipleader by a rather large margin...

Has anyone had trouble signing up and playing at Bodog? I signed up for an account, deposited (via Neteller), and downloaded the software, but when I tried to log in it told me my account status didn't allow me access to the poker room.

ah... it is painful, though... took 15$ to 45$ in an hour... to have a guy call my preflop raise with cards he definitely shouldnt have, and him hit stronger than me...

Yeah, I hear ya. When the abundance of fishies, you always run a greater risk of suckouts...but, I still would recommend Bodog...too much money getting thrown around for the taking.

I've never even played at Bodog before... I'm too busy with the Costadel fishies...

I think i'll make a deposit there and give it a shot..
