bodog donk and go's

i've been playing bodogs donk and go's, 5 + .50 buy ins. 25 to the winner, 15 for second and 10 for third. i suggest playing these, if anybody is looking to build thier bankroll with little risk. i played four of these yesterday and won three of them. excluding my buy in, i added 60 dollars to my bank with very little effort.

if anybody has any comments or questions, please feel free to respond.

Brian

Do you play tight or loose? I can never seem to perform well enough in S'n'Gs. I like the game, it's fun, but I tend to play it like cash games, tight preflop and aggressive post. Somehow, I feel that's not the right way to play it. It's hard to get premium cards when the blinds keep increasing.

i am normally a pretty tight player, but i loosen up my game when i play these. i was having a problem loosening up my game on MTT, these have helped me do that. i typically see about 40% of the flops. i think one of the keys to winning there is to not get married to your hands as you will find chasers. you also have to be willing to chase for the right price. i usually don't raise pre flop unless i have a monster. i'll let someone else do the betting and out play them post flop. be wiiling to play a little out of position with suited whole cards. see a lot of the flops when they are cheap, if you make your hands, you will get the upper hand very early on, then you can afford to tighten up a bit. hope this helped. let me know.

Nothing to be done. They have their servers here in Canada, so by law they somehow can't let Canadian players register. Doesn't actually matter to me much; I do fine on other sites

If you like the normal 10 seated sit and go's try the beginner sit and goes. They pay out less and all the way to 5th place, but they are a no brainer to win.

you ca almost auto-fold to even money and then maniac your way to chip leader.

If your ever behind a few brews and feeling hambergered or tilting i suggest these refreshing little tournaments.

I agree the beginners tournaments are great. With the top 5 paying you almost cant lose money. I play the $16 dollar beginners sit and goes all day. The prizes arent as high, but a desent player will never lose money
