| Blow-ups I played the bodog fr and was doing quite well, until I completely lost it with second pair. My opponent raised pre-flop so I knew he probably had me beat since there was an ace on the flop (I had a pair of nines). For some reason I started raising and reraising and I lost about 2/3 of my stack. Does anyone else has this problem or is this typical for a beginner? By the way this doesn't necessaraly happen after a beat, it's like someone pulls the plug and afterwards I feel like such an idiot. |

| some people prefer to call it "tilt" anyway its a common problem that can hit you at any stage of your play and sometimes you just can't fold the hand. I lost too much money because of those kind of things, if you at the tourny take few minutes break no meter how good the cards you think you have, suddenly 7-9 off suite looks like a reasonable triple raise. If you play at the tables just leave and cool down and NEVER BUT NEVER DON'T TRY TO EARN YOUR MONEY BACK. when you go to play again just imagine that your start your game not from a lost. anyway you should decide how much you can afford to loose in one day and either how much your high limit, of course if you get hand after hand to quite but if the game goes normal you should stand up and leave as long you got the plus. good luck |
