BIG reason why you don't advertise your game on the internet!!!!!!!!

bunch of hoodlums being bullys. Its true you shouldn advertise you games online..especially high stakes games. but dam...such a shame there are ppl in this world like this

I feel bad for those guys. Sure, we've all lost our pants in a poker game a time or two, but never at gunpoint.
Okay, one more: De-pantsed, then sprayed with pepper spray..... talk about the Nut-Flush.

It is a terrifying world that we live in now. Besides the good that the internet can do, there is always a down side. This is not only with poker games, but on Twitter & Facebook, to just mention a few. People are robbed very frequently by telling a friend on line that they will not be home, etc...and often are robbed while they are gone.
The internet has been rife with illegal scams for years...some involving schemes to send your money to people that need help in foreign countries. They take even the most savvy internet users for a ride. And often result in unjust punishments for the ones being scammed!
The best thing is never to advertise a high-stakes game & to always verify the person at the door before opening it. And I would always have a gun by my side for protection.

Yeah this is just plain stupid, you get robbed once, then you go do it again, these idiots had this coming, or its an inside job. If you must advertise your game, then do not tell the location except from an email, and make sure that everyone that wants to come has a real email, NO GMAIL accounts, it must be sent from an isp like comcast or road runner, this way no robber unless he is a complete dolt is going to send his verified email, if he did the police would have them that week or less. Also he should have put in the ad that there will be a camera surveillance system that records remotely and 5 armed guards and 2 german sheppard guard dogs.

Im curious also to know, there is a guy in an apartment complex smoking a ciggarette, how the hell do the perps know he is part of the game in question. Was he wearing a bright yellow shirt that says, we are in the middle of a high stakes poker game, with the address on it?

man this is sad but atleast no one got really hurt or worse now a days you just can't advertise on web sites for big cash games. not worth the surprize
