Idk know what the item you are looking at for sale is, but basically the Baluga Whale Theorem tells you that: you should really evaluate at how strong your one pair hand is when you are raised on the turn If you are looking to purchase the item for what ever more it contains, fine. But do not pay $1000, for what you can EASILY find on the net for free. Maybe turn your browser off of shopping? ***And do some searching for it, there is a lot of information about it out there with a lot of examples that you can study. Google is your friend (or Bing if you truely must ) Last edited by jernest : 27th September 2010 at 2:57 PM. Reason: last thought

Umm, is that US$1000 for 2 poker books? Do yourself a favor and don't buy it if that is the case. There are a ton of posts on good normally priced poker books here on CC, between buying a few books, hem/pt3 if you don't have one of them already, maybe joining 1 or more of the video training sites, and even a few sessions from a coach would be way cheaper and more effective than 2 books for 1k.

I feel like if you're playing less than 200NL, maybe even 400NL, this book won't be that helpful to you/ worth the price. If you're playing those stakes, then the book would only represent a couple of buy-ins to you, but otherwise I'd look elsewhere for your reading pleasure.
