Beginning of the end of Online poker?
...at least for US players? Every agency that deals with US money seems to be closing.. Neteller... Click2pay...
Can't help to think that online poker will be ending sooner than later... |

well
trying to think about how to answer this, this is actully my 3rd attempt to answer it.
Only time will tell the fate of online poker, as of right now it is already over for some of us like myself. Thank you Atlantic City for being close ![]() as for will everyone in the United States quit playing? of course not, people will find ways to play. Shady processors are going to be popping up, people will most likely be scammed and law enforcement will most likley be closing them soon after they open. Then eventually there will be a middle ground reached most likely because the United States will realize they cant control this, and they will realize that they could make alot of money out of it. The question is will the Americans still want to play poker if they have to pay rake+taxes? I mean are you willing to pay taxes on all the money on each withdraw? It's actually very interesting following this and reading all the articles in the poker magazines I get. Its interesting reading about the efforts PPA has taken to try to save online poker. Right now Im done because its just not worth it to move money from processor to processor trying to get one that will be open more then a month. If they get some agreement down I will be back until then im all live player. |
