Bankroll and Satellite Ticket Question So quite a few here know me so I'd like your opinions on a few things. As some of you know, last Wed. I won the Bodog Freeroll which came with an entry to the Sun. 100K game. This was paid as T$109. This leaves me in a quandry. Most of you know I'm a dedicated freeroll warrior. Thanks to everything I've learned and stict Bankroll management I've accumulated a total poker bank of $700 even after making several withdrawals from nothing in past year. Of that $700 though, the T$109 represents more than 15%. So here are my questions. Should I disregard my strict bankroll mgmt, play "over my roll" in the big game since I would be basically freerolling? Is using T$ in smaller games against good etiquete for a satellite winner? Wouldn't using my T$ in multiple money added smaller MTTs be net EV positive than one all or nothing shot? What does anyone else think? LUCK and KINDNESS

I would consider your T$ as part of your bankroll and not play in the big one. It cant be poor ettiquete because no one would even know, and it doesnt really matter. My opinion is that if your going to use "its basically freerolling" to justify it, then you might as well play over your limit with your other 600 bucks because you got that for free as well.

Thank you Andy for your reply. That is pretty much my line of thinking as well. As for the rest of you i'm a little dissappointed when a thread like "I hate Donkeys" gets 30 replies and my question only generates one response. I am assuming my questions aren't inherantly stupid, for Mr, Sticker would tell me if they were and point me to the FAQ section.. What gives guys and gals?

Really the reason that you've gotten so little replies is that the first post in the thread really answers the question properly for you. Consider the $T as part of your bankroll and use it to play your normal games. Occasionally if I want to play a larger MTT I may attempt to sat into it, but usually I'd be rolled for the larger tourney anyway.

I seem to win one of those 109T prizes in a freeroll on a regular basis, and I always use them to enter lower buyin trnys. It's like tradig it in for cash! Now, if I could just build enuff cash to bother with a Bodog withdrawal and all of the affravation theat comes with it, life would be good!
