Bankroll Management Spreadsheet I created

I have a very simple spreadsheet I designed and I would like to share it with you guys, but I'm not sure of how to post the excel file online though.

For now, here are previews of what the document looks like. As far as I've tested it, it is working fine. I am far from an excel expert so forgive me for any mistakes.

The main page, which displays the total money earned/deposted, withdrawn and a quick reference to max buy in at a table based on the percentage you play with. I typically play with 3-5% of my total bankroll, so that is how I reflected this sheet.

This page is where I enter the basics. I kept it to a bare minimum because I personally don't care what time the game started/ended and what I'm making per hour. I've found that if I just play the game and enjoy it, I don't bet crazy to raise my $/hr.

If anyone is interested in having a copy, just shoot me a PM with your e-mail or something. If you want me to add anything specifically for you, put that in there too and I'll see what I can do. If you think I left out a feature that a lot of people would like to see, feel free to reply here.

Thanks

sweet, i'll ask for a copy once i install ms excel on the new lap top i bought a couple days ago.

Just started playing poker online 3 days ago, deposited $10 and now my bankroll is $130. So i could use something like this to better my overall game.

If you think there is anything I could add, just let me know. I have checked out a number of spreadsheets online, but most of them had boatloads of junk that I personally didn't care for. I like to minimize the time I spend updating a spreadsheet, and maximize the time playing the game. I was working on a graph, but I realized that when looking at a graph, I spent a lot of time looking at the downswings. I now just focus on making sure my profit is in the green.

Or you could just use a combo of Excel or Google Office + the free applet @ Free Poker Tracking Software - PokerDominator.com

Save yourself some time...

Or you could try PokerTracker to keep stats on everything.

It's just a thought.

I am using pokertracker. I just don't have any intention of paying for it. So, when this 60 day trial ends, I'm going to ditch it. It hasn't helped my game at all. I've found that poker tracker is geared for people who can't read their opponents and they need software to keep track for them. I just wanted something simple to watch my bankroll progress. I designed this to suit me perfectly and I'm simply offering it up to anyone who was looking for something similar.

Yeah, because online opponents that you can't see are soooo easy to read.

Lets keep the useless posts in another thread. I'm here with a small spreadsheet to help anyone who needs it. I didn't come here asking to be flamed by complete ****wads for trying to be helpful.

He didn't flame you. He was using sarcasm to illustrate a point. That's not the same as a flame.

If PokerTracker's not for you, go ahead and try Poker Dominator. It's free, and makes graphs and stuff. It's easier than making your own spreadsheet.

Not to be a total jerk but PokerDominator's set up better than your spreadsheet. It's not that yours is bad, it's that yours isn't as good. Since it's free to use PokerDominator, I can't see any really good reason to take the tedious DIY route.

So you accidently threw in an insult to the thousands of members of this forum who use PokerTracker? Oh OK. Apology accepted.

I didn't throw in an insult.

Just because you prefer to use software to do something that I do without, doesn't make you any less of a player than I.

Poker tracker is 100% unrelated to my post. Plain and simple. I know I was looking for something to track my bankroll a few weeks ago and of all the spreadsheets I found, none of them were useful. So I made this to cater to my needs. I'm not asking for suggestions such as PokerTracker or Poker Dominator. I appreciate the thought, but it's completely irrelivant. If this topic is not what you need because you have pokertracker/dominator then why are you even posting here?

Please try to stay on topic.

LMAO!! More insults? Who asked you? Who are you? Did I insult you? I don't remember insulting anyone. I guess you don't use PokerTracker, either.

Welcome to the forum. I hope your entire 2 days here have been enjoyable.

you were doing great and as you explained several times it's just what you use and wanted to share , very nice thought till the insult and then the whining .

Mmmmm ever since I found the glory that is pokertracker, there is little that compares to it.
