| bankroll management for mixed games What is the general rule regarding the amount of money you need to play Mixed games (Horse, 10-game, 8-game mixed etc.)? I've read it was 300x the big blind but that's only in like draw games. SO what's the general rule on mixed games |

| re: bankroll management for mixed games poker It really depends on whether the mixed games include PL and NL games. Some mixes do, some don't. That said, some fixed limit games are pricier than others. Factor in the riskiest game into how much you sit down with. Isn't it odd that PLO is far more risky than NL anything? What is it about PLO that makes people bet so hard when they may not even have a hand yet? I prefer a very conservative BRM plan anyway. I try to be satisfied with modest gains and am happiest with modest losses. BRM is for grinding... and that's a good thing. |
