| Bankroll Decision Alright, I just hit the $1000 mark in my BR and now its decision time. Do I move up to 50NL right now or wait til I have 1250-1500 or even more to make the jump? I have been killing 10NL and 25NL at 12.69 PTBB/100 over 20,000 hands (I know, variance will catch up with me) and with a few MTT finishes in there, my BR has made it up to 1,000 from just 30 dollars a few weeks ago. Im leaning towards waiting til i have 1250 in my account before making the jump to 50NL and then moving back down to 25NL if I lose 5 buy-ins (putting me back at 1000). However, I am antsy to just move up right now. I guess theres no harm in playing ~5000 more hands of 25NL though. Hard to believe I went from playing the 2.20 beginner S&Gs on Bodog a little over a year ago to where I am now. I would have never dreamt of having so much in my bankroll back then, i was happy winning a couple bucks here and there. |

| Congrats! Nice decision to have to make. My suggestion; take it gradually rather than say "Tomorrow I start 50NL". Try a session, maybe with fewer tables if you multitable. See how you feel. No shame in stepping back if you find yourself not playing your game. Try again in a week or two. |
