| Bank Roll vs Entry Fee question Just wondering how much of your bank roll should you be putting up for tourney entry fees? For instance, say I have a $300 bankroll...what size tourneys should I be playing? I am thinking 5-10% of my roll. I know I have the habit of playing a $100 tourney if I have 300. I know that is way too much. Any suggestions would be helpful |

| 5-10% is still to high IMO. I tend to (try to) use chris ferguson BRM. 5% (20 buyins) for SNGs and cash games and 2% for MTTs. It seems steep but with larger field comes less chance of cashing, just by pure math. so with $300 you should be playing $6 MTTs and below and $15 SNGs. |

The Ferguson system makes the most sense and keeps you from loosing control. But you have to have much discipline... |

| I have taken advantage of pokerstars self limit, I put it so I can't play any ring games and I cant go past 4$ dollar sng and mtt. It takes 24 hours to raise your limit if you want to go to a higher games. I know before my last break every time I win 2 nice size games I would go out of my league and hope I can win, did it every time and lost it every time. |
