balony

almost 60 hands without a winner at Ultimate bet I have never in all my years seen that in any poker room. This is what seperates online from the real thing. one is usually bullshit and one is most likely to be the biggest pile of bull shit you have ever seen in your entire life.
The good news is that I am doing well in the tourney but you have to sit and wait for cards that may never come.

I don't mean to hijack your thread... but:

balony - Definitions from Dictionary.com

I really don't know what that is supposed to mean.

I read your OP, gave it all the consideration it deservced..........and decided to respond to Van instead. You wanna rant about baaad run of cards, talk to yer dog. You never seen anything like it ever? Now there's the REAL Bs

You got HHs to post to corroborate yer claim, ot are you just waaahing? Want to be taken seriously? When you tell a story, have a point..... makes it so much more interesting for the listener.

60 hands without a premium hand? You're going to have to be a little creative then. I was doing excellent at the USA 200 freerolls the other night...hitting good cards and taking down bluffers and bullys left and right..then my streak went cold... I went from 1st position to finishing 19th with 36 people left. I wasnt creative enough towards the end and had to make a desparate move when blinds and antes were killing my short stack... oh well thats poker.

BalonEy (without the capital e) seems acceptable as slang though the spell checker doesn't like it.
I thought everybody knew about the pre-session drawing at Ultimate Bet. They choose x number of accounts at random to be the winners for x number of hours (x because the duration of time the win-switch is on varies to prohibit unethical players from...doing whatever it is unethical players do). So always remember to do that first. It's worth a shot ;-)

you guys are without a doubt an interesting group of people. I will try to stop complaining about online poker but it is different from live poker.
I will tell the storys that you long for and never use words like balony or smegma or even cowlick ever in any of my posts. I will keep it short and to the point because after all I might find the secret to what I am looking for on this very site.

I did not say I did not get quality cards I play top hands most of the time and when I did the flop would shoot me in the foot. or I just got beat plain and simple.
I guess because I have played in poker rooms usually against regulars and have done very well for the most part that I feel a little pissed at the way things go sometimes online and I am just now realizing I am playing many differnt types that I may have never seen before so I quess the law of averages may have to play a part in my future poker playing.
I have stopped playing ring games and try to play only tourneys, small stakes and try to work up the ladder if I fall I start over again.
Anyway its a theroy as good as the next.

Ok, see that didn't hurt too much, did it? Here's the point that in our own perverse way we were trying to get across: For the most part, the members here play low stakes online poker. We all been sucked out, lost to stupid donk plays, seen stupidity get rewarded and we all get frustrated about it. So, in that contexr, your OP meets with a simple been there, done that. In fact many of us are doing it right now.:_

Welcome to CC, we really aren't bad folks, and we try to promote and foster good poker, be it live or online. So stick around, get to know us all; I think you'll like it here.
