bad run after checking out

Does anybody believe in a curse after cashing money out of a site? i recently cashe dout over $1200AUD and in the 3 days after i have lost $200USD through hands like these below, i have poke roffice and went through each days play and i had the premium starting hands about 1 out of every 5 and did not win a pot, now im not saying that it is "rigged" as such, but its a bit hard to swallow, things like AA 6 times for 0 wins, AK on and off suit 13 times for 0 wins over the last 3 days, not necesarily missplayed either, if you wanted more evidence i could post you my actual stats, but just to show you what i mean, i have include some of the more juicier pots in terms of value

I also don't suggest cold-calling AQ for 6BBs from EP. I'm either reraising or folding.

Wild again...but again, you're understacked with $20 at a 50NL table... (obviously not the cause of the beat, but you should be buying in for the maximum.)

forget the beats, and move on. the more you stress about bad beats, the worse your play will get, and the more you will lose money.GL in the future

i will, its just seird, for example i was just in a tourney, first 3 hands of the tourney, i'm button then BB and SB im dealt J6 in BB unraised and flop 2 pair, some donk pushes all in with pocket 3's after loosing half his stack in teh first hand, i call and loose to running flush, then in SB unraised again im dealt AQ off, so i raise 4X to 100 get 1 caller, 4Q5 i bet 350 he pushes all in, i have 150 left so i call turn and river 67 he has 89 off, its just uncanny thats all, im still up beat, i didnt cash out 1200 coz i was lucky if you follow me

EDIT, weird not seird

sorry he made a full house on turn, i messed up when typing it in, sorry

I also don't suggest cold-calling AQ for 6BBs from EP. I'm either reraising or folding
duely noted, i will take this onboard

yes, i am starting to realise the need to buy in for more, and also, im not really saying this is a "BAD BEAT" thread, its more the timing of such horrific boards and it is always for the lot of my money tourney or cash, mind you, these sessions are lucky to last 30 minutes because of the constant cash losses i just quit for a while to regroup, re buy and the same crap again, LOL, poker hey

Guys Guys Guys,

Have you ever stopped to think that the site you have withdrawn your money are not in the least bit interested.

They have already made there money off you, so the fact you are making a withdrawal is of no consequence to them. It is other peoples money you are taking out, not there money, and that is the key.

I work in the IT industry and have discussed with a number of well respected programmers, (European Space Bods) how these sites could single you out for special attention following a withdrawal.

The truth of the matter is they cannot. It would be far to complicated to single out a withdrawer and the problem would only multiply itself as more and more people take out cash.

The reality is that your poker has not been up to scratch and you have given some of your hard earned wonga back to the other players.

The reason i posted this is because every day on this forum there are threads about On-Line sites being rigged.

No criticism here of anyone but have a look at your play before blaming something else

Thank You

couldn't agree more. in fact if you read my posts you will find in there that i am not saying its rigged at all, although i will stand firm in my own uneducated beleifs that it is in fact rigged in a way to genrate big hands or as i like to call them , "rake raisers" at least 2 times an hour, its just a bitter pill to swallow, and my play is not up to scratch at all, but when you receive several runner runner beats, including full houses beaten 2 times in a 30 minute session it becomes all to suspicious, and im not blaming, merely venting and disscussing the topic, i also work in the IT industry, but i have not spoken to any programmers!

I know what your saying Jason.

But there is a continued gripe in this forum about what we have discussed.

Poker by its nature will always generate Bad Beats etc etc because of how many ways a hand can be played.

I think another reason for the gripes are that players relax and drop their guard. They have made a withdrawal and are already gearing up for the next when it all goes wrong

Just my 2c worth

Thanks

I have been playing and withdrawing ( and depositing ) from many online poker sites since the late 90's.
From my experiences in doing so, the one thing that emerges time after time is big downswings after making that first withdrawal.
Call it what you want but it is a fact in my experiences.
One thing I will say though is, by keeping your stack at a site longer than perhaps you want to for fear of a bad run of cards coming your way, the site does benefit.
If 100 players with say $1000 each BR hold on for a few extra weeks, thats $100,000 still in the sites coffers, nice work if you can get it.

Saying that, it makes no difference to me if they make fat interest profits, in fact fair play to them I say.
I am not defending or slating poker sites, I am just saying how it has been for me.

Just a quick thought, who's to say that these sites aren't using you're deposited money to invest in other things......just like banks do. They would be stupid not to use all that money that's just sitting there.

My 2 cents worth: I've added and withdrawn money from PartyPoker (before our laws changed and I can't play there anymore) and didnt notice any difference in my bad beats...I still got a lot of them and gave a few myself.
