Bad Run

Going through a pretty bad run at the moment. Not getting any cards and getting blinded out but still making it to the last 5 but just not getting anywhere past 4th or 5th. I'm quite glad that I've got things to do every night this week, gets me away from poker! This is my last play last night :-

You're right, a back door full house does hurt. Tough break!

Go all-in pre-flop - why call with almost a 3rd of your chips?

If your opponent went all in on a total bluff, or called an impossible draw and got lucky i'd be pissed, but he made the right play going all-in with a pair of Jacks, and was unlucky to run smack bang into a flopped Nut flush and very lucky to get out of it - you'll get lucky too and win some hands when you're well behind, so I wouldn't worry about this one.

You need to push preflop, or fold (folding I wouldn't even recommend - you're too shortstacked)

And once you're all-in pre-flop its not a bad beat anymore, just a 59.1 - 40.4 bog standard confrontation which you got the wrong end of. Poker will be much more fun for you if you look at it like that.
